Makeup Artist Angela Levin did the makeup for actress Nicole Kidman. Beauty Inspiration-”My inspiration was Nicole! She already had an amazing, natural radiance, which made her an easy canvas to work with.”
Beauty tip-The focus of Nicole’s sultry look was her eyes. Angela used deep, rich shades to give Nicole a dramatic, smoky eye. To achieve this look she brushed Soft Touch Eyeshadow in Silvery and Ebony on the lids. she then lined the eyes with Intense eye Pencil in Graphite and Noir to make them stand out. As always, Angela used her favorite Chanel product, Inimitable Mascara in Noir-Black. She finished the look with a pale, natural pink lip Rouge allure in Darling.

Beauty Tip-Rachel gave Penelope a stunning, dramatic look on the red carpet. she created a navy cat eye by lining the eyes with Precision Eye Definer in Blue Jean, then smudged the navy shadow from Quadra Eyeshadow in Bleu Celeste on top of the liner, giving her a deep blue almond shaped eye. She used Teint Innocence foundation in Soft Honey on her skin, and gave her complexion a matte, velvet finish with Poudre Cristalline Ultra-Fine Translucent Powder. Rachel applied a new Rouge Allure shade, Naive, to Penelope’s lips for a pinkish nude lip.
Makeup artist Paul Starr did the makeup for Jennifer Garner. Beauty inspiration-”My inspiration tonight was the glamour old Hollywood; evoking the beauty of Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn. This was the first time Jennifer was wearing a black dress on the red carpet, so I wanted to give her a strong look.”

Beauty tip-Jennifer looked classically beautiful and glamorous on the red carpet. Paul started by creating a strong, sculpted eye. He achieved this look by lining the upper and lower lash lines with Intense Eye Pencil in Noir, and then perfecting the line with Automatic Liquid Eyeliner in Noir. Backstage with Marchesa with Stila Cosmetics
Beauty backstage at Stila-For Four seasons, Marchesa has turned to Stila Cosmetics to compliment their Hollywood worthy designs with just the right makeup looks. Stila Makeup artist Talia Shobrook used lush, rich hues to complete the the Marchesa collection.

Inspired by the iconography of the 16th century, Marchesa’s fall collection evokes the excess and elegance of the Golden Age. Drawing on the drama of the Spanish Armada, the design embody the clash of Spanish style and Elizabethan renaissance in a era marked by legendary monarchs. Shobrook captured the concept in a dramatic look that modernizes Elizabethan stylization, with dreamy, angelic complexions to reflect the soft, flowing quality of the collection.

Here is Stila’s quick how-tos so you can too capture the look at home: Step one-The Skin-The look for skin is matte and pale. Beging by applying Stila Sheer Pressed Powder. Then apply Stila Perfecting Concealer to area that require more coverage. Step two-Eyes-Neutral tones contour and accentuate a smokey eye framed with dramatic lashes and brows. Apply Stila Eye Shadow in Chinois to brow bones. Next, apply Stila Eye Shadow in Bouquet and Kamet to the creases of your eyelids and your bottom lash line. Line the lower outer rim in with Kajal Liner in Smoky Quartz.

Stila Cherry Crush Lip and Cheek Stain
Then sweep Multi-Effect Mascara in Brown over lashes and apply Multi-Effect Mascara in Black to tips of lashes. Finally, fill in brows in Brow Set. Step three-Cheeks-Cheeks are neutral but flushed for high contrast with pale skin. Use new Cherry Crush Lip and Cheek Stain to create a bright flush against pale skin.

Apply to fingertips to the high apples of the cheeks, blending out until color diffuses into a soft stain. Step Four-Lips-Lip color is shiny and saturated against matte skin and eyes. Apply Cherry Crush Lip and Cheek Stain directly to lips for rosy color with a sleek sheen. Next, dap SPF 20 Lipstick in Talia over cherry crush with fingertips to finish the look.
Jennifer Garner and Marion Cotillard Oscar Hair by Frederic Fekkai
Jennifer Garner and Marion Cotillard gorgeous hair for the 2008 Academy Awards were styled by Adir Abergel, and Robert Vetica using Frederic Fekkai’s haircare products. Adir styled Jennifer’s locks and Robert styled Marion.

Jennifer Garner at the 2008 Academy Awards
This is how to get Jennifer Garner’s look-Adir started by applying from root to ends, Fekkai Coiff Shape and Set Mist. Adir then parted hair for a severe side part, hiding all of Jen’s short bangs. He blow-dried small sections of the hair with a round brush and pinned each section back. Set the hair for about ten minutes, Adir took a 1″ curling iron and curled her entire hair. He then sprayed some Sheer Hold Hairspray by Fekkai and pinned all her hair back into a low deconstructed bun. Making sure to leave the severe side bang and a few random pieces out to frame her face.
Products used on Jennifer Garner’s Hair:
1. Frederic Fekkai new and limited-edition Coiff Shape and Set Mist.
2. Frederic Fekkai Coiff Fini Sheer Hold Hairspray.

Marion Cotillard at the 2008 Academy Awards

Heidi Klum and husband Seal
Heidi’s Makeup was inspired by her gown. Makeup artist Linda Hay focused on the eyes, the absence of color and neutral lip. The skin was sun-kissed with a beige/bronzy look from head to toe using a mix of Victoria’s Secret Bare Bronze Gleaming Self Tan Tint and Victoria’s Secret Daily glow Moisturizer to her whole body and a light sweep of Ooh La La Shimmer Powder to line her legs, arms and shoulders. For Heidi’s face, Linda used tinted moisturizer to even out her complexion and a little concealer around the eyes and nose. A light dusting of translucent powder and Goddess Bronzer to shape and contour her face.

More of beautiful Heidi Klum
For Heidi’s eyes, Linda used Black Velvet Eye Pencil to draw a very thin line on the top lash line. Then using the 2 lighter Charcoal colors in the Satisfied Eye Very Sexy Mosaic Palette, she lightly smudged the the pencil and drew in the crease. Linda used the white shadow in the Mosaic palette to highlight right underneath the brow line and dot at the inside corner of the eye. Underneath, she also added a thin sweep of lightest silver to gently define the eye.

Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Makeup
Next, she applied individual lashes to top and bottom lashes and about 4 or 5 applications of Victoria’s Secret Very Voluptuous Black Mascara. To make the eyes pop up even more, she used Sparkling White Eye Pencil. The lips kept matte. Linda use Ginger Spice to line her lips and filled them with a combinations of Whisper and Spontaneous.
