beautyAddicts to Launch on ShopNBC

beautyADDICTS, the revolutionary cosmetics company that challenged the industry norm with their ‘beauty made simple’ color line, announced today their upcoming national launch on ShopNBC, the country’s 3rd largest TV shopping channel.

beautyADDICTS will be the featured cosmetics line on the ‘Beauty Source’ Hour, a brand new show which will air on June 19th at 12am, 9am, 1pm and 5pm, EST. beautyADDICTS will be the only cosmetics line during this hour, and is expected to have between 15-20 minutes of air time in each hour.

beautyADDICTS will be represented on air by makeup artist guest John Henry Edington. Mr. Edington brings more than 15 years of makeup artist experience, and has represented makeup and skin care lines such as Mac, Versace, Iman and Takashimaya.

For the partnership launch, beautyADDICTS will be selling it’s “Total Look Collection” – a set of eyeshadow, lip quad, blush duo, mascara and travel brush set. The set will have a retail value of $135, and will be selling on ShopNBC for the special promotional price of $59.50, plus shipping.

The ShopNBC launch represents a major milestone for the boutique cosmetics brand. “This is an exciting step for the company, and a chance to launch the brand at a national level”, said beautyADDICTS CEO Adam Gerstein. “We’ve seen the impact when people can see the product and understand the line, and we feel that TV shopping medium is an ideal way to get out our message of simple, elegant beauty to a wider audience.”

About beautyADDICTS: beautyADDICTS is a boutique cosmetics brand created to make beauty simple. Founded in 2005, the line takes a revolutionary approach to makeup, with colors organized by look and mood, to make it easy for women to find the right colors for the right time. The line has a cult following of celebrities, artist and beauty experts, and is currently distributed in high end boutiques and salons, as well as national retailers such as CO Bigelow and Douglas Cosmetics.

Adam Gerstein, founder of beautyAddict, was interviewed by Marta Walsh for Beauty Interviews back in May 2007. In the interview Adam talks about beautyAddicts and what makes it stand out from the crowd.
