Evan Rachel Wood and Judy Greer At The 2012 Golden Globes

Evan Rachel Wood…Hairstylist Marcus Francis. Beauty Inspiration: “Evan’s Gucci gown was a show stopping moment waiting to happen on Sunday. To not compete but compliment the overall look we wanted to keep the hair classic Hollywood, of course with her signature modern edge.”

How To Get Evan Rachel Wood’s Hairdo

“One week before the awards, I got Evan started on a hair treatment plan: every other day of Rene Furterer Karite Intense Nourishing Oil for pre-shampoo moisture restoration, and Karite Intense Nourishing Mask done after the shampoo. This help illuminate her new creamy blonde hair when on the red carpet at the Golden Globes.

The day of the awards, I sprayed Phyto Volume Actif on wet hair from roots to ends. I first blew dry the hair in the direction I wanted the style using my hands working in the product to build a thick, movable texture. For a little more hold, I cocktailed the Phyto spray with Living Proof Full Thickening Mousse applied to the entire head, this time using a 1/2″ bristle round brush. Using a 3/4″ curling iron, I wrapped medium size sections on the top of the head to set in the volume with a little bend on the ends. This helps to look in the texture and fullness added by the products.

I gently brushed back the top and molded the shape, connecting it to the sides and back and keeping the volume, especially in the front. To modernize with Evan’s style, I used Davines Glossy Modeling Putty to rake back the sides with my fingers and polish up the back. I pinched horizontal sections with the Putty to show texture in Evan’s blonde hair and to tighten the sides for a goddess like structure. When the style was complete, I lightly sprayed it with Oribe Superfine Hair Spray.”

Judy Greer…Hairstylist Maranda Widlund. Beauty Inspiration: “The inspiration for Judy’s hair was a little Brigitte Bardot… jumping on a motorbike in Paris!”

How to Get  Judy Greer’s Hairstyle

“To get good texture in the hair, we used Phyto Volume Actif Volumizer Spray. I created a loose sexy bun, and finished the look with some Oribe Super Fine Hairspray.”

Ariel Winter’s Makeup

Makeup artist Adam Breuchaud. Beauty Inspiration: “With Ariel wearing such a bright and fun dress we wanted a simplistic young and fresh look.”

“We decided to keep her skin clean and focus on a soft lip and a great lash. Using CHANEL Eyeshadow Quad in Prelude we defined her eye pulling out the corners with a light smoke. Then used Ardel individual lashes followed by several layers of Mac’s Zoom Lash mascara on both the top and bottom lashes. Then to accentuate the bold pop of color from her dress we decided to do a stain of a soft berry tone. That look can be achieved by applying your favorite berry lipstick with your finger with a light tapping motion to really work in a small amount of color onto your lips. We used Clinques satin lipstick in Black Honey.”

Emmy Rossum’s Makeup

Makeup artist Christy Coleman. Beauty Inspiration: “Emmy’s blue dress reminded me of the color of Elizabeth Taylor’s eyes… So I decided to emulate Cleopatra since her hair was pulled back tight.”

“We prepped the skin with Amala Cocoa Bean Oil. I used Jane Iredale Liquid Eyeliner in Black, RMS Blush in Smile, and the lips were Organic Pharmacy Lipstick in Peach Shimmer.”

Felicity Jones’ Makeup

Makeup artist Katey Denno. Beauty Inspiration: “60’s Valentino dress was the inspiration. We wanted to stay away from creating a period piece look while still incorporating the black winged eyeliner that’s become her look. We kept the face very fresh with a hint of a pink cheek and mouth while really playing up the Twiggy eye – thick black liquid liner with a well defined taupe crease and a ton of lashes.”

“Her face was treated to a massage with Darphin Chamomile Oil followed by Josie Maran Argan Primer Mist. Armani Luminous Silk Foundation was used sparingly in the center of her face and blended towards the edges using the beauty blender sponge. Concealer is Lancome Waterproof. Matte Lancome Shadow in Mochacchino defines the crease of her eye. Black liquid eyeliner thickly drawn using matte black all natural brand Zuzu. NARS mascara – both the lengthening and thickening formulas. Vapour Organic Beauty cream cheek color in Torch. Lip liner on entire mouth, CHANEL Rouge Coco Shine in Chance, with Josie Maran lip gloss in Daring on top.”
