GIANFRANCO FERRE & VERSACE Milan 2011

Continuing Milan Fashion Week, Redken Creative Consultant Guido created an effortlessly sophisticated low airy ponytail, nodding to the 60s, at the Gianfranco Ferre show. “This is an ultra flattering look on any woman in an almost sporty kind of way. When you tease and create height at the crown it throws the face forward.”

Create the Look

Prep hair with satinwear 02 ultimate blow dry lotion -blow dry in sections with a Mason Pearson brush moving up to the crown

Back brush at the crown for extra lift -create a messy side part and sweep hair over forehead -bring all hair together at nape of the neck and secure in a low ponytail with an elastic, making sure to keep the height at the crown from the back brushing.

Finish entire look with a light spritz of shine flash 02 glistening mist for just a hint of shine.

Versace

At the Fall/Winter Versace show, Guido created a super straight, center parted, minimal hair look to complement the Collection. “The Versace look this season is without reference but still looks rich and elegant without being “done. It’s very minimal but also very rich at the same time and it’s nice to see straight ironed down looks that is still controlled.”
