If you didn’t know by now, my name is Marta Walsh and I’m not only the founder and editor of US’ top fashion and beauty blog TalkingMakeup.com but I’m alson a North Scottsdale REALTOR at Russ Lyon Sotheby’s International Realty with a passion for the Scottsdale and Paradise Valley Arizona luxury real estate market. Therefore I like to explore my neighborhood and find out where are the coolest places to live and dine. One of my favorite areas in Scottsdale is Kierland.

Well I hear that Kierland is actually Phoenix and the recently developed Scottsdale Quarter across the street is Scottsdale. But for some reason Kierland stuck as Scottsdale in my head.
Kierland Commons is great because it offers shopping and dining in one place. If you like it so much you can even get a Kierland Condo and have all the fun within walking distance. Kierland Condos are the Scottsdale take of urban living. Choose from Kierland Plaza Lofts, Kierland Greens, and Kierland Heritage.

My favorite shops at Kierland are Guess, J. Crew, Banana Republic, Bebe, Victoria’s Secret, Z Gallerie, Sur La Table, Crate & Barrel. Barnes & Nobles is great for kids because on the second floor they have a Thomas the Tank Engine train table which is very popular among kids.
My favorite places to dine in Kierland are: Green House Inspired California Cuisine, North, Ra Sushi, and Mastro’s Ocean Club Fish House.
Also fun is to stay at the The Westin Kierland Resort & Spa, Scottsdale, Arizona. Their villas are family friendly with great rooms some overlooking a golf course. There you can take your kids for a fun weekend water sliding by the pool. In the evening The Westin offers golf cart rides to Kieralnd so you can enjoy the shopping and dining Kierland is known for.
