Things that Can Make or Break Your Skin

There are certain things that can really make or break my skin. I love to share my beauty secrets so here’s my list.

Too much sun. A little a bit of sun is OK, but too much sun can actually dry up my skin and even make it difficult to apply makeup. No face powder or foundation matches anymore so I can be stuck with a rare combo of dry yet super shiny face. To avoid this situation, I like to use a sensitive skin face moisturizer with SPF like Simple Vital Vitamin Day Cream with SPF 15, which moisturizes and protects skin all day.

2. Long flights for some reason make my skin look full of flaws and it can feel dull or un-fresh. A quick wipe with Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes cleanses, refreshes and nourishes my face.

3. Exfoliating is key for my skin. I like my skin smooth so Simple Smoothing Facial Scrub is my best friend. I skipped exfoliating once for two weeks, and the results were terrible. This facial scrub is kind to my skin and exfoliates the face to reveal brighter, more evenly textured skin.

4. Another thing that can dry skin is hot weather, like Phoenix in the summer. To keep the perfect balance when the weather is not too cooperating, I try to stay indoors or under the shade.

5. Good powder foundation is a must-have for my skin. I hate nothing more than a shiny face (sorry, but I call it greasy face). Just as you take such good care of your face with moisturizer, you must also invest in a good face powder or foundation.

With one or two skincare products from Simple and a bit of face powder my skin looks like a clean canvas and, at times, even flawless.
