Rouge d’Armani 401: The Perfect Holiday Lipstick

Holiday season is here, and it’s almost winter, guess what lipstick Marta will be wearing?:) For me Rouge d’Armani 401 the latest from Giorgio Armani Beauty is a true love. This one, made me fall in love with the lipstick all over again. The 401 is a red shade of lipstick with golden yellow undertones, and orange. Works really well with my very light olive skin. The formula is amazing: it’s not too greasy or too thick to apply. And it’s super long lasting!!! I always carry Rouge d’Armani 401 in my purse. Fact. I like to apply it on its own, but sometimes I put a very light and sheer pink lipgloss first and then apply Rouge d’Armani 401, this gives me a more sheer coverage with just a hint of red. If you are looking for that one amazing lipstick you might want to test out Rouge d’Armani. Hope you would love it as much as I do.

BTW-I also love and wearing Rouge d’Armani plum 601 (see image below, bottom shade)! Same great Armani lipstick in the perfect plum shade.

I forgot to mention how much I love the case for Rouge d’Armani: it’s black (my favorite color, always looks so pull together and chic) and there is a magnet that helps it close the lipstick case after you done. LOVE!

The Golden Beams Collection for Holiday 2009 captures the precious singularity of golden tones with a rare depth and an unexpected eroticism, celebrating three ultra femme variations on golden translucence, anchored by the drama and depth of surreal fantasy. Secret: Marta loves to shop in Walmart for beauty products! I know, some of you might be surprised. But I believe in life you need to mix and match. I like to mix expensive beauty products with some classic super affordable products.

Here are Marta’s picks:

Cover Girl lash blast Volume Blasting Mascara: I hear this mascara by Cover Girl is a total super star and is securing its place as a classic. It made my lashes this morning long and full in just seconds.

Cover Girl Continuous Color Lipstick: a very creamy lipstick in wearable modern shades.

Cover Girl eye enhancers eye shadow palette (Marta’s favorite shade is in shimmering sands): this eye shadow palette comes in three shades that work together: simply color the eye lid, outer corner, and high-light the brow bone.

Pantene Pro-V Moisture Renewal shampoo: sometimes I just need a simple shampoo that works in cleaning my hair yet keeping it moisturized and Pantene does all that. Men love it too!!

Secret Clinical Strength Sport: I like to use this extra strength deodorant on days when I have a whole day booked running around for work. The stress of it all makes me sweat more lol. I need extra help:)

Crest Whitestrips Advanced Seal NEW: I like to use inexpensive methods to whiten my teeth. I;m sort of lucky, my teeth are naturally white (not sure why, maybe some good old genes lol) so this works for me. The MAC Greasepaint Stick is an amazing eye liner! If you are looking for The eye liner you might want to give this one a go. It has a bit of a thick point, yet super easy to apply and to get that perfect line on top of lids, or even bottom lids. And the pigment is to die for. It’s super dark purple with black. This MAC eye liner takes the black eye liner into a whole new level.
