Manuel Canovas Paris Les Fantaisies Parfumees is a collection of 5 perfumes: Pink Riviera, Anse Turquoise, L’ile Bleue, Ballade Verte, and Route Mandarine.

 

My favorite from the Manuel Canovas Paris Les Fantaisies Parfumees collection is Route Mandarine. It reminds me of COCO Chanel which I also love. It smells very oriental and very seductive. Definitely an evening perfume.

Manuel Canovas Paris Les Fantaisies Parfumees in Route Mandarine was inspired by the Orient, and featuring notes of geranium, orange, bergamot, mandarin, clove, citron, cinnamon, ylang ylang, patchouli, rose, muguet, jasmine, orange blossom, sandalwood, vetiver, white musk, vanilla, amber, labdanum, incense, raspberry blossom and civette.

Pink Riviera was inspired by Saint Tropez, with notes of bergamot from Calabria, Italian citron, Greek grapefruit, Italian mandarin, wild mint, Egyptian jasmine, Turkish rose, Indian sandalwood, white musk and amber.

Anse Turquoise was inspired by St Barths, the notes include bergamot, caramel, grapefruit, California orange, citron, vanilla cloves, ylang ylang, cinnamon, sandalwood, jasmine, muguet, rose, tuberose, violet, Caribbean magnolia, vanilla, white musk, amber, Peruvian balsam, orange blossom, oakmoss and Spanish labdanum.

L’ile Bleue was inspired by the island of Capri, with notes of bergamot, mandarin, orange, lemon, peach, apricot, rose, sage, patchouli, sandalwood, muguet, white musk, benzoin and amber.

Ballade Verte was inspired by the elegant and romantic Frech “Toile de Jouy” fabric, this monochromatic Jouvence design was modernized by Manuel Canovas via reinterpreting original themes-mythology, exoticism, architecture, and pastoral scenes-with strong and contrasted color schemes of Geranium Red and Cafe au Lait. Fragrance notes of violet leaves, Turkish Rose, galbanum from Iran, ylang ylang from Comoros (Indian Ocean), Chinese ginger, Indian sandalwood, cedarwood from Virginia, agarwood, Gurjun balsam, tree sap, vanilla from Madagascar and white musk.
