I think she just let herself go. If she hadn't gained weight and looked after herself she would be a very beautiful 70 year old woman. Look at Sophia Loren, still gorgeous and about Bridget's age I believe. She looks phenomenal. Beauty will last if it's taken care of. It will be a different beauty than the full flower of youth, but beauty just the same.

So don't fear age. The moral to the story is to take care of the face and body you have now and it will serve you well. I am nearly 50 and everyone guesses me to be 30 (and that included my dermatologist when I first came to her). I eat well, exercise and get plenty of rest. I look forward to being a beautiful older woman.

Wow. She looks bad for 70. I've seen women 90 that look better than that; she obviously just didn't take very good care of herself. :/

She looks natural, which is more than I can say for many. She has grown beyond being just another pretty face and is a true friend to animals. That makes her very beautiful to me.

True, a person is young only once. But beauty, since it is in the eye of the beholder, can last forever. I agree that she looks very different, but we all pass through different phases of life. She was blessed as a 20-something, and perhaps is blessed differently as a 60something. There's a different kind of beauty in wrinkles, but it's there if you look for it from the right perspective.

She is true to herself... i prefer her to all those fake so called stars who pretend they didn't get plastic surgery and have their faces looking like they have been ironed...

Looks really don't matter, and if Bardot was a wonderful person, it wouldn't be classy to say anything. However, she has become a pretty disagreeable character....
She is looking a bit rough now. But she has a high standard to adhere to; she was one of the all-time beauties - past or present.

GOOD ON YOU OLD GIRL!! AT LAST, A CELEBRITY WHO DARED TO GROW OLD AND LOOK HER AGE. I AM ONE WHO BELIEVES THAT BEAUTY COMES FROM WITHIN. MOST OF THE ONES WHO GET ALL THE SURGERY, AND LIFTING, AND SUCKING AND CARVING DONE END UP LOOKING WIERD, SCARY OR EVEN NOT QUITE HUMAN ANYMORE.
BRIDGET LOOKS LIKE A 70 SOMETHING GRANNY THAT TOOK LIFE AS IT CAME, AND MADE THE BEST OF IT. :-)

Well, men stay beautiful longer than women ;-)
Brigitte Bardot was never a Hollywood star though... She stayed in Europe and in France in particular.
