mark Spokeswoman and best-selling author Lauren Conrad has officially made her mark on “Who Wants to be a Millionaire!” For the show’s 10th anniversary special on August 12th, some of America’s most popular celebrities participated in the hopes of winning $50,000 to support their charity of choice.

With a little good-spirited competitive edge, Lauren Conrad not only competed but won on behalf of m.powerment by mark, the philanthropic initiative dedicated to breaking the cycle of dating abuse and partner violence. All $50,000 of the winning proceeds go directly to funding the campaign, which began last September. Thus far, it has contributed $250,000 to anti-violence charitable organizations throughout the country!

m.powerment by mark and Lauren Conrad: In September 2009, mark launched the m.powerment by mark campaign to empower young women to make their mark in the world. To raise money for the foundation, Lauren collaborated with mark to create the “Have a Heart” necklace (worn by Lauren during her winning performance on the show) from which 100 % of the net profits are donated to help raise funds and awareness for the cause. Lauren again collaborated with mark, this time to create two new Baby Glow Hook Up lip glosses – m.powerment Peach and m.powerment Gold – that will be available in October with their net profits raising funds.
