The Hair Files is a NEW video series that features Redken Experts and highlights the unique experience consumers receive from their stylists in salons. In the video series Redken Experts recommend the best products and provide easy step-by-step direction to consumers on how to create their favorite salon hairstyles on their own. The video highlights the unique experience consumers can receive from their stylists in salons. Launching on Wednesday, March 11, 2009 on www.redken.com/hairfiles  and on Redken’s NEW You Tube page, www.youtube.com/redken , the video series is hosted by MTV VJ SuChin Pak and music provided by up-and-coming artist, Toby Lightman.

The first of the series, “Healthy, Shiny Hair,” features Redken Experts David Stanko, Redken haircolor consultant, and Rodney Cutler, owner of Cutler/Redken salons. In the video, Stanko discusses the importance of an in-salon consultation with a stylist so he/she can recommend the best at-home haircare regimen as well as the Redken Chemistry service, while Cutler shows consumers what products to use and steps on how to best blow-dry their hair, focusing on tips and tricks that can only come from a stylist. Finally, the video then features the model effortlessly blow-drying her hair applying the tips provided by Cutler.

New webisodes will be added to The Hair Files series every other month featuring steps on styling for men, styling and caring for curly hair, and getting the perfect straight and voluminous looks.
