This is the first product review I've ever written. I had perfect skin my whole life until I reached the age of 25 (I'm now 27). I got the worst case of adult acne ever. I spent a FORTUNE on products from Sephora, then went to a pricey New York dermatologist who put me on prescription face washes. Nothing worked - NOTHING! With my wedding approaching, I spent a week of my life researching everything having to do with acne (I could write a dermatology book now, honestly) and came to the conclusion that all skin is not created equal. Just because Proactiv works on one person, doesn't mean it will work on another. The same goes with any product that uses the same formula for everyone. That's when I saw the SkinID commercial for the first time. Their philosophy of tailoring products to your skin type made complete sense to me. I took the test three times (just to make sure I kept getting the same response) and bought the introductory kit. My skin is absolutely perfect now after two months. I experienced a little drying at first while my skin got used to it, but that was easily remedied with some mild Cetaphil lotion. For all the comments that this is no different than the stuff available in drugstores, I highly disagree. You can feel the quality of the products when you use them. Just be sure to go through the whole routine twice a day. You won't be sorry.

Honestly I've tried other neutrogena products and I'm not convinced the things they sent me aren't the exact same thing I've got in the store but with different packaging. I have the cream cleanser, the pads, and the benzoyl peroxide cream, oh and the spot treatment. Now I told the evaluation my skin is extremely sensitive yet I get the benzoyl peroxide anyways ugh it burns my skin and the cream cleanser, pads, and spot treatment is literally the EXACT same thing as their Rapid Clear line... the "microclear technology" yeah doesn't work. I don't have acne much but I do get break outs and even while using these products regularly they neither clear it up nor prevent it. Maybe it'd help for the chronic acne prone people but it's not worth the price for skin Id since like I said you can get it at the stores and cheaper. *shrugs* Waste of time and money...

SKIN ID DOES WORK. I'VE TRIED EVERYTHING AND NOTHING HAS WORKED TILL NOW. I STARTED SEEING RESLUTS THE FIRST DAY. I'VE BEEN USING IT FOR A WEEK NOW AND MY FACE HAS SEVERLY CLEARED UP. I'M SO MUCH HAPPIER AND CONFIDENT.

I notice that in all of the before pictures the person's hair is disheveled, and in the after pictures the person's hair is very neat, and they all appear to have acquired a tan as well. This makes me less confident that the product really works, since it appears to be a marketing push, and I also know how easy it is to touch up photos. Too bad you can't use "REAL" before and after photos, and not these fake ones. I will probably try the product anyway, but I wanted Neutrogena to know an intelligent person's response to their before/after campaign. Not convinced.

I am thinking about buying skin id as well. My skin is not bad but at my age I am too old to worry about my skin. (not old, in my thirties)
