America Ferrera wears Lancôme at 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards: Celebrity makeup artist Vanessa Scali created the look for America Ferrera at the Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday night. Talking Makeup got the scoop, straight from Lancôme & Vanessa, on how to re-create America’s glamorous look.

How to get America Ferrera’s Makeup Look at 2009 Kids’ Choice Awards:

First, before applying any makeup, Vanessa prepped the skin with Lancôme Genifique, a youth activating concentrate that improves tone, texture and luminosity giving the skin a natural glow.

To create a flawless complexion, Vanessa used both Lancôme Effacernes concealer and Armani Lasting Silk UV SPF 20 Foundation.

Vanessa used Armani Fluid Sheer #2 as a highlighter and applied it with her finger to the cheekbone and brow bone. This gave the complexion a bit of added shimmer.

Lancôme Color Design Cream Blush in Pret a Plum was applied to the apples of the cheeks for just a pop of color.

Shu Uemura Cream Eye Shadow in Beige was lightly dusted on the eyelid and Lancôme Artliner in Noir (my all time favorite eyeiner)  was applied to the upper lash line.

Several coats of Lancôme Ôscillation mascara were applied to the lashes for added length and volume.

THE LOOK: 
A modern day Veronica Lake with heightened definition and a defined wave 
pattern. Accented with a strong side part and pull back to one side.

HOW TO GET THIS LOOK: Start by applying FEKKAI COIFF DEFENSE THERMAL UV PROTECTANT to wet hair.
 Brush from roots to ends with the FEKKAI CLASSIC BRUSH. Spray FEKKAI COIFF
 BOUFFANT LIFTING & TEXTURIZING SPRAY through out and dry hair. Using a 3/4
inch curling iron start at the nape of the neck and wrap the hair from 
middle to root. Make sure all the hair is going in the same direction 
making it a repetitious pattern. Then use the next size curling iron on the ends of the hair. Go through the entire head from right side to left side.
Clip the hair into desired waves close to the scalp. Remove clips and brush out curls for a soft finish. Set with FEKKAI SHEER HOLD HAIRSPRAY.
