Truly breathtaking, Jolie wore an elegant, white strapless dress with hair that was smooth, sleek and natural-looking. It was styled by David Babaii, who created her beautiful new style with bangs.

Here’s how to get Angelina Jolie’s hairstyle at the international press junket for Salt:

“The humid climate and tropical breezes of Cancun presented unique styling challenges.  After cutting the bangs a bit shorter and chipping into them so they appeared even softer and swept away, I dampened her hair and applied Moroccanoil Treatment to protect it during blowdrying, prevent frizz in this a very damp environment, and lock in weightless, natural-looking shine. Next, I applied Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream to create soft hold, and smooth any bends in her texture.  I then made a side part, sweeping the bangs to the left, and created three sections: two on the side and a larger one in the back.  I used a large round brush to blow each section smooth.

To complete the look, I manipulated the hair and tousled it for a natural, bohemian touch. I finished with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray for strong hold that kept the style in place but allowed it to move naturally.”

For her red carpet look during the August 10, 2009 premiere of “Inglourious Basterds“, celebrity hairdresser David Babaii created a naturally tousled look for Angelina Jolie’s long tresses.

First, David applied Hair Polish to her entire mane…

…followed by spraying Volcanic Ash Root Amplifier to the root area for lift and volume. Next, he parted hair into 3 sections (This is David’s “key” signature tip).

Beginning at the nape area, he used the David Babaii for WildAid Blow Dryer with the nozzle attachment for direct styling.

To achieve her look, David blow dried her hair using a large round brush to smooth tresses straight and shiny. When done drying the entire head, he took large sections and wrapped hair around the same round brush. With the blow dryer and nozzle in hand, blow an additional blast of hot air for 10 seconds and then hit the cool button for a burst of cool air: this sets the shape. Carefully release the section from the brush and continue until you have completed the whole head. To finish, spray Mise en Plis Light Styling Spray.
