Top notes of absinthe extract, golden freesia and green anise. Mid notes of orchid, saffron and narcissus nectar. Base notes of antique wood, ebony musk, myrrh and amber.

The Packaging: Like the first two Christian Lacroix fragrances for Avon, Absynthe is captured in a bottle inspired by an intricate bull-fighting cape that Lacroix famously transformed into a couture gown. To better reflect the whimsical world of absinthe, Lacroix modified this famous design for Absynthe, which is featured in metallic gold ink on the bottle. In a bold departure from Rouge and Noir, Absynthe is a brilliant shade of chartreuse-a color that Christian Lacroix cites as an inspiration that resonates with his fashion-making the  ragrance a standout statement.
