Star Wars, adidas and the upcoming FIFA World Cup are coming together like never before. Recreating the famous “Cantina scene” in Star Wars (you’ll instantly recognize the jazzy background music that sets the scene), David Beckham, Snoop Dogg, Ciara, Noel Gallagher, Daft Punk and the godfather of German soccer, Franz Beckenbauer meet up with Han Solo, Chewbacca, C-3P0 and Obi-Wan Kenobi in the actual scenes of the acclaimed film.

In an unprecedented, first-of-its-kind, collaboration with Lucasfilm Ltd, world’s collide with movie magic: Harrison Ford as Han Solo looks on as Snoop waves a light saber and Greedo confronts David Beckham directly. To seamlessly integrate new shots of David Beckham, Snoop Dogg and company into original Star Wars footage, a set was created to replicate the original dimensions of the iconic “Mos Eisley Cantina” featured in the film. Flame software was used to composite (superimpose) the old and new shots together blending the edges seamlessly.

While an edited Cantina spot will air during the much-anticipated US vs. UK World Cup match on June 12th, 2010, we have a few highlight stills from the Cantina spot, as well as the full two minute extended version on youtube.com (both above).

David and Victoria Beckham will launch a new duo of fragrances, Beckham Signature for Her and Beckham Signature for Him, this coming September. Unlike their prior mass market launches, the new scents will launch in prestige department stores.

Beckham Signature for Her is a fruity floriental developed by perfumer Sylvie Fischer (who also created Intimately Beckham Night for Men), and includes notes of anise flower, candy apple, orchid, heliotrope, vanilla, patchouli, amber and musk.

Beckham Signature for Him is a fresh woody oriental developed by perfumer Beatrice Piquet (who also created Beckham Instinct and Instinct After Dark). The notes feature mandarin, watermelon, marine notes, fresh living lantana, cypress, juniper berry, moss, sensual white amber and patchouli. (via: Now Smell This)

Intimately Beckham For Him And For Her new fragrances by David and Victoria Beckham are finally here.  Intimately Beckham For Him comes in an elegant amber gloss bottle and a crystal clear cap and a signature diamond base.  Is is a woody spice type of fragrance with main note of:  bergamot, tangy grapefruit zest, zingy cardamom, sexy violet, nutmeg, star anise, sandalwood, amber.  Cost:  around $50.  And here is a picture to back it up. 

Intimately Beckham For Her represents Victoria Beckham’s elegance and life of luxury.  Comes in a pink gloss bottle and a crystal clear cap.  Main notes:  white flowers, bergamont, rose petals, Casablanca lily, sublime tuberose, orange blossom, vanilla, sandalwood, musk.  Cost:  around $50.  

The famous power couple David and Victoria Beckham are rumoured to launch their first his and hers fragrance called:  Instinct.  The much anticipated Beckham parfume will Begin selling in the UK on September 1, 2006.  For those of you who are not familiar with soccer, Beckham is the world’s most recognized soccer player.  And Victoria Beckham, aka Posh Spice, was once a singer with the multimillion-selling Spice Girls in the 90′s.  Rumoured notes for Beckham ‘His’ perfume are:  Italian bergamot, orange and mandarin, star anise, cardamom, red pimento, Haitian vetiver, patchouli and white amber.  Beckham for ‘Her’ notes will include:  bouquet of white flowers, bergamot and rose petals.  No words on kind of packaging yet.  We will keep you posted!
