(Washington, DC – May 5th, 2011) – Actress Eva Longoria glowed at the National Museum of the American Latino final report press conference held in Washington, DC. Longoria spoke at the event outling the proposed $600-million for the National Museum of the American Latino while looking chic in a neutral Capretta cocktail dress.

Capretta consists of designer Courtney Capretto whose collections can be described as the redefinition of the little black dress and are designed for women who are passionate about travel, adventure, and luxury. Inspired by the 1940’s, the Capretta look is very feminine and flirty and includes sophisticated silhouettes with just a hint of edgy.

Eva Longoria stuns in a MARCHESA dress and carries a Marchesa clutch at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s 2010 Costume Institute Ball May 3, 2010. Eva wears a silver embroidered platinum crepe column gown with flared cascade skirt and carries a crystal embroidered medium clutch with hand beveled quartz crystal clasp. Eva also wears Harry Winston Jewels.

I love Eva Longoria’s hair and makeup at the Women in Entertainment Breakfast today. I see bigger hair on the runway and on the red carpet lately. But the big hair is not the 80′s frizzy big hair, but a more sleek with soft cascading waves. I do want to try this look at home:)

Ken Paves wanted both Eva Longoria and Victoria Beckham to look “effortlessly chic” at the 17th Annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Party, on February 22, 2009.

“Eva’s hair was based on Bridget Bardot/Sophia Loren – for inspiration. I wanted to pair something ultra feminine yet pulled back and chic with her tuxedo. I began on her almost completely air-dried hair and sprayed volumizer (Try, Ken Paves Healthy Hair Volumzing Spray, $ 24) throughout.

I tousled her hair with my fingers while drying the rest of the way because I wanted to create a natural texture. I lightly smoothed her fringe [bang] with a round brush. Lastly, I twisted the back up and secured it with hair pins. I wanted her look to be effortlessly chic.”

“For Victoria, I also wanted to create a simple and elegant style to pair with her ultra glam and modern dress. I used volumizer (Try, Ken Paves Healthy Hair Volumizing Spray, $24) on her damp hair and blow dried with a vent brush for shape and natural texture.

I created a deep side part to dress up her short style. I finished the look by using gel just around the hair like for a sleek, clean, and effortlessly chic look. I think she looks amazing -this is modern glamour!”
