CHANEL celebrity makeup artist Fulvia Farolfi worked with Vanessa Paradis, CHANEL beauty muse and the face of CHANEL Rouge Coco, for the event. Fulvia lined her lips with CHANEL Lip Definer in Rouge, and applied CHANEL Rouge Coco in Gabrielle, a gorgeous true red shade. Fulvia prepped Vanessa’s skin with CHANEL Ultra Correction Lift Day Cream. For her complexion, she used CHANEL Long Lasting Concealer in Beige Clair, and CHANEL Pro Lumiere Foundation in Nude. Her cheeks were sculpted with CHANEL Powder Blush in Fandango. CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist Angela Levin worked with Kate Bosworth, who was also in attendance at the dinner. Kate wore CHANEL Rouge Coco in Ruban Rose, a beautiful warm pale pink shade. Makeup Tutorial: It was a lovefest in Los Angeles last night at the premiere of “Valentine’s Day.” The star-studded flick, directed by Garry Marshall, features a bevy of A-list beauties, including Lancôme ambassadors Julia Roberts and Anne Hathaway. Here, their makeup artists fill us in on what they used to create their red carpet looks.

For Julia Roberts, celebrity makeup artist Genevieve wanted to balance sexy, lined eyes with a muted mouth. Genevieve lined Julia’s eyes with Lancôme’s Artliner in Noir. Next, she swept Sweetie, a sheer pink shadow from Lancôme’s Color Design Eye Shadow Quad in Haute Sunset, along the lids. Dirty Pink, from the same quad, went on the crease. Loads of Hypnôse Drama Mascara in Excessive Black completed the eye look. For the lips, Genevieve lined with Lancôme’s Le Lipstique in Fraichelle followed by the new Color Design Matte lipstick in Pink Preview (coming in March). To dilute the lipstick color, Juicy Tubes in Tickled Pink was applied for a soft pout.

For Anne Hathaway, celebrity makeup artist Kate Lee prepped Anne’s skin with Chanel Sublimage Fluid, followed by Chanel Vitalumière Fluid Foundation. Anne’s smoldering eyes were a combination of Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl Eyeliner in Black Ebony, Chanel Quadra Eye Shadow in Kaska Beige and Lancôme Virtuôse Black Carat Mascara. Anne’s pretty cheek color was Chanel Powder Blush in Fresque. Topping Anne’s vibrant pout: Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge Lipcolor in Perfect Fig.

Face
“I started by prepping Katrina’s face with mark For Goodness Face Antioxidant Skin Moisturizing Lotion and mark Kiss Dry Goodbye Lip Smoother onto her lips. I evened out her complexion with mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Golden then buffed Champagne onto her cheek bones for emphasis. To give her that natural looking rosy glow, I used mark Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Peachy, smoothed onto the apples of her cheeks followed by a dash of mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder. I finished her face with a final brush of mark Matte-nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder to eliminate any excess shine. I then used mark Jewel Body Cream on any exposed skin to give her body a gorgeous glow.”

Eyes
“For Katrina’s eyes, I started with mark It Kit (available in February 2010) in Latte and blended into her crease. I then used I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Corset brushed onto her lid, blending it slightly upwards into the crease and dashed below her bottom lash line. I then used mark Eyemarker Color On Line in Jet and carefully rimmed the top and bottom of her eyes, then used mark On The Edge Hook Up Liquid Eyeliner in Cleo to create a perfect line on the top lid strictly for definition. I finished up her eyes with two coats of mark Scanda-Lash Hook Up Mascara in Blacklash focusing on the corner of her lashes to really draw them out.”

Lips
“To keep Katrina’s lips looking subtle and natural, I used mark Dew Drenched Moisturlicious Lip Color in Mist.”

2010 Golden Globes Beauty Trends: Another big trend of the evening was long, dramatic lashes set against smoky eyes as seen on True Blood’s Anna Paquin, actress Emily Blunt, and Glee’s Lea Michele. BTW-I love Anna’s Stella McCartney gown.

Makeup tutorial on how to get Gabourey Sidibe’s makeup look at the 67th Golden Globe Awards using Bobbi Brown products:

Step 1: Prep skin with Soothing Face Tonic and Hydrating Face Cream
Step 2: Apply Chestnut Concealer under eye. Use Concealer Brush to get an even application.
Step 3: Apply Oil-Free Compact Foundation in Chestnut with a sponge and/or Foundation Brush

Step 4: Use Blush Brush to apply Poppy Blush and Flame Shimmer Blush to cheeks. Application tip: Smile and apply from apple of the cheek up to hair line and blend

Step 5: Apply Chocolate Lip Gloss to lips

GET THE LOOK: Funny lady and Golden Globes nominee Tina Fey was made up by celebrity makeup artist Ana Marie last night at the 67th Golden Globe Awards using Lancôme products. Here’s the scoop on Tina Fey’s makeup at the awards straight from Ana Marie. The inspiration, says Ana Marie, was Old Hollywood/1950′s with a twist.

The makeup tutorial on how to get Tina Fey’s makeup look by celebrity makeup artist Ana Marie for Lancôme:

Tina’s skin was prepped with Lancôme Secret de Vie Toner (Ana Marie’s favorite!) and moisturized with Bienfait Multi Vital, a combination that keeps the skin looking vibrant all day. Lancôme Absolue Foundation in Pearl evened out Tina’s complexion. Ana Marie applied it with a foundation brush and blended with a damp sponge to make the foundation more transparent.

To create a sun-kissed look, Ana Marie layered a cream blush (Lancôme Color Design Creme Blush in Petticoat Pink) with a powder blush (YSL Blush Variation in #18 Coral Sand). Layering the different textures allows for long-lasting color.

For the eyes, Ana Marie lined the top and bottom lash line with Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl in Black Coffee and curled the lashes using a Shu Uemura eye lash curler. Lancôme Défincils Waterproof Mascara in Black was applied to create separated, dark lashes.

Lips were lined and defined with Le Lipstique in Sheer Natural and filled in with Lancôme Color Fever Shine Lipstick in Tempt Me. For a fresh, glossy finish, Ana Marie used Lancôme Juicy Tubes in Cherry Burst.
