How to makeup tutorial by CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist Kate Lee:

“Rose’s look was part Penelope Tree, part Belle du Jour. She has incredible eyebrows, and I wanted to push that 1960′s shape but keep it modern. ” “I worked along the lash line with CHANEL Long Lasting Eyeliner in Ebénè. I blended it out and into the socket line.

Over the top I worked with CHANEL Soft Touch Eye Shadow in Ebony pressing the colour in to make it intense. I then used a clean brush to gently pull a little colour into the outer third of the socket and onto the lid, aiming for a semi-opaque effect. Inside the eye used the new CHANEL Intense Eye pencil in Clair (available in July 2010) to keep the eye open. Once I cleaned up under the eye to avoid muddiness, I applied concealer and then used a tiny amount of the matte black shadow on a small brush and blended away to almost nothing to create a pale grey soft line. Her mascara was CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir with a few shreds of strip lash. Cheeks were CHANEL Powder Blush in Pink Explosion (available in July 2010) and finally, lips were kept light and neutral with CHANEL Rouge Allure Lip Colour in Insouciante.”

“I prepped Gemma’s skin with CHANEL Hydramax + Active Serum. On her eyes, I used a beautiful violet grey shadow from a new palette launching in July – CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Enigma.

I lined the inside of Gemma’s eyes with CHANEL Intense Eye Pencil in Clair, also launching in July. This beige shade is a nice alternative to white – it gives a more modern effect and is not quite as harsh, making the eyes appear wider. Finally, I applied two coats of CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir. I used a generous amount of CHANEL Hydramax + Active Lip Care on her mouth, and added just a bit of CHANEL Rouge Allure Laque in Dynastie for a touch of colour. To complete the look, I applied CHANEL Powder Blush in Fandango on the apples of her cheeks.”

GET THE LOOK: Funny lady and Golden Globes nominee Tina Fey was made up by celebrity makeup artist Ana Marie last night at the 67th Golden Globe Awards using Lancôme products. Here’s the scoop on Tina Fey’s makeup at the awards straight from Ana Marie. The inspiration, says Ana Marie, was Old Hollywood/1950′s with a twist.

The makeup tutorial on how to get Tina Fey’s makeup look by celebrity makeup artist Ana Marie for Lancôme:

Tina’s skin was prepped with Lancôme Secret de Vie Toner (Ana Marie’s favorite!) and moisturized with Bienfait Multi Vital, a combination that keeps the skin looking vibrant all day. Lancôme Absolue Foundation in Pearl evened out Tina’s complexion. Ana Marie applied it with a foundation brush and blended with a damp sponge to make the foundation more transparent.

To create a sun-kissed look, Ana Marie layered a cream blush (Lancôme Color Design Creme Blush in Petticoat Pink) with a powder blush (YSL Blush Variation in #18 Coral Sand). Layering the different textures allows for long-lasting color.

For the eyes, Ana Marie lined the top and bottom lash line with Lancôme Le Crayon Khôl in Black Coffee and curled the lashes using a Shu Uemura eye lash curler. Lancôme Défincils Waterproof Mascara in Black was applied to create separated, dark lashes.

First, Genevieve applied Lancôme Bienfait Multi Vital Teinté to Julia’s flawless complexion. Just a hint of color was applied to the cheeks with Lancôme Color Design Cream Blush in Petticoat Pink. Here is how to get Christina Hendricks’ red carpet makeup look at the 2010 Golden Globes:

PREPARE: I used shu uemura’s new Depsea Hydrability Moisture Cream. This cream seriously hydrates, yet disappears into the skin leaving the skin feeling fresh and smooth.

UNDEREYE: Lancôme’s Effacernes in Porcelain.

FOUNDATION: Applied minimal foundation, because Christina has nearly flawless skin. I used shu uemura’s Nobara Cream Cover Stick foundation.

BLUSH: I used shu uemura’s brand new Satin Radiant Stick Blush on the apples of the cheeks.
