My latest must-have makeup find my loves…is the limited edition Make Up For Ever La Boheme Eye Shadow Palette which can be applied dry, or also with a moistened foam tip (which BTW haven’t tried yet because I’m a busy girl and opt for the quicker dry option).

The pigment is a bit sheer yet dramatic enough and shimmers. Another great thing about this palette is the all the shades are very practical and wearable and long wearing. My favorite shade so far is the Brown.

I like to line by bottom lashes with the NEW Make Up For Ever La Boheme Aqua Eyes in dark brown, also a limited edition. It’s long wearing and gives me that softer smoky eye look. I must say, I’m a smoky eye addict. I don’t feel as powerful without it:)

The MAC Quartz Fusion Eye Shadow for the MAC Semi Precious collection is the multi tasker. I use it as an eye shadow, to highlight & illuminate, and as a blush. The shade is light pink with lots of silver shimmer. It’s a star.

Too Faced is up to something with their eye shadows. They are my new favorite. This collection was part of their 2010 holiday gift collection sold in Sephora aka Too Faced Enchanted Glamourland. The shades are hip and practical. The eye shadows are light in texture, shimmery and long lasting.

NEW Beauty Products On The Block. New beauty products excite me. In fact that’s what makes me a beauty junkie you see. The thrill of trying new products and maybe even finding The One. The latest has just landed the Marta Walsh’s desk. Here’s a sneak peek. Mostly by L’Oreal Paris introducing EverSleek Sulfate-Free smoothing system Preparative Shampoo, conditioner, and EverSleek Frizz Creme Serum. Smells green melon and white rose and fantastic and works as good as salon brands. Also in the collection, L’Oreal EverSleek Intense Smoothing version.

Another favorite is L’Oreal New Magic Smooth Souffle Makeup Foundation, so light so easy to apply, great wearable shades, it’s a keeper. It’s an air-whipped, oil-free foundation. This is part f L’Oreal Studio Secrets collection inspired by backstage beauty and their very talented makeup artist James Kaliardos.

I even love the new L’Oral The One Sweep Eye Shadow. Shade are very practical. Matte finish. The magic here is “shadow trio that can be applied in one easy sweep” via L’Oreal. And lastly, the solution for getting these small lower lashes mascara love: NEW Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara and I’m proudly wearing it right now. This one launching February 2011. There is a new breed of eyeshadow by Estée Lauder. It’s a step up from anything you know before by Estée Lauder in terms of intensity of pigments and long lasting. Maybe because Estée Lauder is also the ‘owner’ of MAC Cosmetics and they are inspired, maybe it’s Tom Pecheux Estée Lauder’s Creative Makeup Director, or maybe because it’s Estée Lauder.

I’m wearing the new Pure Color Five Color Eyeshadow Palette in Wild Violet palette today and I’m loving it. I applied this morning and the eyeshadow is as intense as the first minute. The shades are super practical for day or night and even the office. Must have.

Michelle Williams’ makeup. Celebrity makeup artist Jeanine Lobell worked with Michelle Williams at the New York premiere of Blue Valentine on Tuesday, December 7th, 2010. Marta Walsh has the scoop on how to get Michelle’s fresh, modern red carpet look.

“I started with Kevyn Aucoin Skin Enhancer for a foundation on her skin. I applied the Ombres Perlées de CHANEL, a beautiful palette of six eye shadows. (New for Spring, available in January 2011). I applied the pale ivory shade loosely all over the eye from lash line to brow then the pink one lightly over the crease to flatten the eye.

Finally I used the grey smudged on the lid into lash line and a little in the lower lash line to frame the eye. I penciled in her brows strongly with the CHANEL Precision Brow Definer in Soft Brown. Finally, I curled her lashes with Kevyn Aucoin Lash Curler and added Kevyn Aucoin Curling Mascara in Rich Pitch Black. On her cheeks I used CHANEL Powder Blush in Rose Petale, a soft pink, and her lips were CHANEL Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Jersey Rose. On her nails she wore CHANEL Nail Colour in Pearl Drop, a shimmery white shade new for Spring.”

Face

“For Jessica’s face, I first applied mark For Goodness Face Antioxidant Skin Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 all over her skin to create a nice base. Next, I followed by applying mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Golden using the mark Foundation Brush to create an even skin tone.

To cover any redness or under-eye circles, I dabbed on mark Good Riddance Hook Up Concealer in Medium/Deep, and set the look with mark Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation in Golden. I then used the mark Angled Contour Face Brush to dust mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder in Bronze to her cheeks, forehead and chin to warm up her face. To give her a slight flush, I added mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Sun Love Glo to the apples of her cheeks.”

Eyes

“I really wanted to emphasize Jessica’s dark eyes so we created a heavy, smoky eye. I prepped her eyelids with the mark Please Hold Eye Primer in Medium/Dark followed with a dusting of mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Gioia and Corset using the mark All Over Eye Shadow Brush. Next, I blended the shadows upwards into the crease with the mark Angled Contour Eye Shadow Brush and then used the mark Hook Up Eye Shadow Brush to smudge mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eye Shadow in Corset along her top and bottom lash line. I then rimmed her eyes with mark No Place to Run Eyeliner Pencil in Jet Set since I needed something super longwearing that wouldn’t smear once I applied. I finished off her eye look with two coats of mark Make It Big Mascara in Raven.”

Lips

“For her lips I used mark Lipclick Full Color Lipstick in Malt. I love how creamy these new lipsticks are!”

Jennifer Aniston’s Makeup: CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist Angela Levin worked with Jennifer Aniston at the Los Angeles premiere of The Switch on Monday, August 16th, 2010. Talking Makeup has the scoop on how to get miss Aniston’s fresh, radiant red carpet makeup look.

“I first prepped Jen’s face with the new CHANEL Sublimage Concentrate, to enhance her already radiant skin. Her base was La Mer Foundation in 06, and on her cheeks I dusted a bit of CHANEL Powder Blush in Rose Pétale. On her eyes I used CHANEL Quadra Eyeshadow in Tentation Cuivré, a rich brown and copper shadow palette new for Holiday. The warm shades compliment Jen’s gorgeous eye colour.

Starting from the inner corners of her lashes, I blended the shadow out, going from light to dark. For the liner, I used Tarte Clay Pot Eyeliner in Black. Finally, to make her blue eyes really pop, I finished with three coats of

CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir. I applied one coat, then brushed out the lashes, a second coat, again brushed out the lashes, and finally a third coat using a fan brush. Jen’s lips were natural with CHANEL Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Cashmere, a beigey peach shade, and Kevyn Aucoin Lip Pencil in Bare.”
