How to get the look…

Once the hair was completely dry, he used a ½ inch curling iron to add shape. After letting the curls cool off he allowed the curls to set for 15 minutes and then brushed through the hair. The Hairstyle: Frederic Fekkai’s Adir Abergel Creates a Piecey Ponytail For Anne Hathaway’s Rio Premiere in Los Angeles. INSPIRATION: Fekkai’s Abergel created a modernized 1960’s hair style that was sexy and full of texture.

HOW TO GET THE LOOK: Abergel started by applying Fekkai Advanced Full Blown Volume Styling Whip throughout the hair. He roughly blow dried the hair with his hands to bring out the hairs natural texture. With a round brush, Abergel blow dried the rest of the hair straight, so that the hair was smooth and soft. He then curled the hair using a 1 ¼ inch curling iron and applied Fekkai Coiff Ocèanique Tousled Wave Spray, scrunching the hair with a diffuser to create the texture that would last through the night. Abergel then followed the line of the ear to the crown of the head to place the ponytail, leaving a few pieces fall in front. Adir Abergel interviews with Marta Walsh

Frederic Fekkai’s Adir Abergel continues to set trends on the red carpet. Abergel’s recent work of art was creating Dianna Agron’s hairstyle for 2011 Grammys.

INSPIRATION: A feminine and fresh take on the 1950’s rockabilly hairstyle.

HOW TO GET THE LOOK:

Abergel started by applying the Fekkai Coiff Strong Hold Volume Mousse to the roots on dry hair and the Fekkai Advanced Silky Straight Ironless Smooth Finish Serum at the ends. Then he hand blow-dried the hair until it was completely dry.

Using 1 1/4″ curling iron he curled the hair and pinned it in place starting at hairline all the way to the crown. Abergel pulled the back of the hair into a sleek chignon at the crown of the head. To finish this look he took the pin curls out and backcombed the roots in order to add volume for the pompadour effect. To keep the backcombing in place, he sprayed Fekkai Coiff™ Sheer Hold Hairspray at the roots. Next, Abergel took the Fekkai Classic Brush and smoothed the top of hair into place.
