How to get Zoe Saldana’s Oscars 2010 super-chic up-do:

1. Apply TRESemmé Naturals Lightweight Mousse all over damp hair and blow dry away from the face with volume, flipping head upside down when the hair is almost dry to finish.

2. Separate the crown from the rest of the hair and pull back sides and back into a tight ponytail. Pull the hair almost all the way through, leaving the ends tucked into the pony tail holder to create a half bun shape. Let a few pieces in the back fall out for a messier look.

3. Tease the top of the hair, pull back to meet the back and pin, criss-crossing the bobby pins for a secure hold. Spray all over with TRESemmé TRES TWO Extra Hold Hair Spray.

I’m getting mixed comments on Scarlett Johansson’s hairdo At The Moet & Chandon Tribute To Cinema. Some, like myself  love it, and some don’t. I thought to bring to you the scoop on how to get Scarlett’s hairdo, anyways, just in case you do want to try this look at home.

Celebrity hairdresser David Babaii traveled across the ocean to Tokyo, Japan to create this Red Carpet look for actress Scarlett Johannson at the Moet & Chandon “Tribute to Cinema” event on October 20, 2009.

The hair jewelry worn by Scarlett Johannson is DeBeers. Scarlett’s dress was Givenchy with Dior shoes.

To create this “power look” and accentuate her fire red dress, David Babaii took Scarlett Johansson’s long strawberry blonde hair and transformed her tresses into a dramatic side swept, short textured bob. After rough drying her locks with Hair Polish applied to damp hair, David loosely twirled large sections of hair and sprayed them with Bohemian Beach Spray, while finishing the drying process.

When hair was completely dried, he used his fingers as a comb to gently loosen the twirled sections. He continued using his fingers to sweep hair to one side as not to disturb the texture he achieved, cupping her long locks under giving the illusion of shorter hair. He secured the style with bobby pins and sprayed his Mise en Plis Light Styling Spray for a soft long lasting hold.

How hot is Monica Cruz? No, that’s not Penelope Cruz, it’s Monica, her sister. Don’t they look alike? It took me few minutes to realize it wasn’t Penelope. Monica is the ultimate brunette beauty. She almost makes me want to dye my hair brown again! I also love her very black smoky eye, the classic.  Any Thoughts guys?

Just to to clarify rumors: Uma Thurman is NOT replacing Liv Tyler as the face of Parfums Givenchy!

You may have heard or read about Givenchy’s recent partnership with Uma Thurman for a new women’s fragrance. However, rumors are surfacing that Uma is replacing Liv Tyler as the face of the brand, and that is NOT true. Liv Tyler will remain the face of Parfums Givenchy and Very Irresistible fragrance!

Here are the details: Parfums Givenchy is proud to announce its future collaboration with actress Uma Thurman as the face of a new fragrance set to launch in Europe this fall, with a possible launch in the US in 2010.

While Liv Tyler will continue her role as the face of the brand and the Very Irresistible Fragrance franchise, Parfums Givenchy will be adding Thurman to its roster via a distinct campaign for a new scent. Thurman is the face of a new women’s fragrance only, and details about the fragrance, campaign, and partnership will be revealed later this summer.
