Any woman or girl who decides to chop their long locks for a pixie cut or even a short buzz cut is someone with extreme confidence.

This new super short trend can be simple to style as long as you follow these basic rules of good hair care.

1. Be sure to continue using the shampoo and conditioning regime prescribed by your stylist. For dry or curly hair I recommend the Moisture Velvet Shampoo by Shu Uemura and for oily hair try the Kerastase Volumactiv or Age Recharge shampoos.

2. Opt for a cut with texture such as a razor cut or disconnected layering to give a modern edge to your look.
