How to get a low bun hairdo

How to get natural, sexy texture hairdo

Redken Creative Consultant Guido created a style fit for the classic Alexander Wang girl at the designer’s Fall/Winter 2012 show yesterday- it was a simple downtown look that bordered on tomboyish. HOW TO GET THIS RUNWAY HAIRSTYLE

1. On damp hair, apply satinwear 02 ultimate blow-dry lotion all over to create the foundation for the style and blow-dry the hair until about 80% dry.

2. Create a very clean center part.

3. Apply outshine 01 anti-frizz polishing milk from the mid-lengths to ends and let hair air dry the remaining 20% to bring out the natural texture. The outshine 01 will prevent that hair from frizzing as it dries.

4. When dry, tuck the hair behind the ears.

TRESemmé Stylist Jeanie Syfu created a gorgeous undone side bun for Rebecca Minkoff’s Fall 2012 runway show. To complement the designer’s collection including a mix of leather, fur, sequins and knits, Jeanie created a very chic and relaxed low bun to bring femininity to the strong silhouettes of the collection.

How-To:

Step 1 – Saturate the Roots with a Volumizer

“I needed to get a lot of lift at the roots. Without that, the look would just fall flat,” says Harry. Step 2 – Protect the ends
