Mad Men Actress and soon-to-be mom January Jones struts the street in a striped Nicole Miller maxi dress. Jones ran errands in Los Feliz this Saturday looking casually chic shopping with a friend at Trader Joe’s and eating at Italian restaurant Little Dom’s.

HOW TO GET THE LOOK:

Campora was inspired by the styles of the 1950’s. This look is dramatic, sharp and fresh to reveal January’s natural beauty.

HOW TO GET THE LOOK:

On wet hair, Campora began by applying Fekkai Advanced Full Blown Styling Whip to create volume and Fekkai Coiff™ Contrôle Ironless Straightening Balm to smooth out the hair. He parted the hair to the side and blow dried using a round brush. To accentuate the wave, he used a one inch curling iron setting the hair into pin curls. Once he took the curls out, Campora brushed through the hair creating volume and constructing shape for the style. She is chic and elegant but deeply sensual too – it is a ‘dramatic’ combination.”

The black and white photographs and hair and makeup reference the spirit of theSixties, which is appropriate as January is best known for her role in the award-winning AMC TV drama series, MadMen, which is set in the Sixties, in which she plays former model, Elizabeth “Betty” Francis (formerly Draper).

The Makeup Look & Inspiration: For January’s make up I was inspired by Irving Penn’s iconic photos of his wife/supermodel Lisa Fonssagrives, whose signature extended eyeliner symbolizes the epitome of elegance. I used ultra feminine colours with super sculptural liner for a cool update on that classic late 50′s silhouette.

Beauty Tip:

I used CHANEL Liquid Eyeliner in Noir along the lash line for an exaggerated cat eye effect, adding extra lashes on just the very outer edges for added length. I then applied two coats of inimitable CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara in Noir on the top lashes and one coat of CHANEL Inimitable Intense Mascara in Purple on the bottom lashes. The rest of the face I kept understated using minimal foundation, pale pink cream cheek colour and CHANEL Rouge Allure Extrait de Gloss in Confidence on her lips. I finished the look by dusting her brow bone and lids with a loose iridescent pearl shadow with a hint of purple to play off the super reflective quality of her dress.
