Fashion News. Versace presents January Jones in its new Spring/Summer 2011 advertising campaign, shot by Mario Testino. The new Spring/Summer advertising campaign for Versace features actress January Jones as you have never seen her before.

Under the creative direction of Donatella Versace, shot by Mario Testino in London, the images show the actress with her sophisticated beauty… Wearing the new Versace accessories. Donatella Versace says: “I am always on the lookout for the next Versace blonde… and in January I feel I have found a perfect Versace woman for the twenty-first century. She is chic and elegant but deeply sensual too – it is a ‘dramatic’ combination.”

The black and white photographs and hair and makeup reference the spirit of theSixties, which is appropriate as January is best known for her role in the award-winning AMC TV drama series, MadMen, which is set in the Sixties, in which she plays former model, Elizabeth “Betty” Francis (formerly Draper).

The advertising images feature bags, shoes, sunglasses and optical frames from the Versace collection.

The Fire & Ice campaign shot by an iconic photographer of model Dorian Leigh has been re-done with Jessica Biel and fashion legend Mario Testino.

HowLips: To get Jessica’s look, play up your lips with a glamorous red! Apply Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in ‘Fire & Ice’($7.99) to lips. On Monday night, September 20th, 2010, legendary lensman Mario Testino celebrated the launch of his latest exhibition, “Todo O Nada,” at the Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum in Madrid.

The exhibition, sponsored exclusively by Lancôme, features more than fifty photographs, shot between the mid-1990’s and present day, of iconic women in various modes, from high-fashion stylings to sensual nudes. The idea, said Testino, was to capture the emotions that inspire his work. “I start the exhibit with the process of how you can decorate somebody and then take it all off to discover another sort of beauty, maybe even more powerful,” he said.

Several of the women featured in the exhibit were on hand for the celebratory cocktail party, which was hosted by Vanity Fair Spain. They included, naturally, Lancôme ambassadress Kate Winslet and spokesmodel Daria Werbowy, along with models Natalia Vodianova and Eva Herzigova, among many others.

“Todo O Nada” will be on display until January, 2011.

On her first interview in three years: “I was burned-out with having other people tell the story about me that they wanted to tell. I told my publicist, ‘I’m not going to talk anymore. I’m just going to live my life and be who I am.’”

On being asked to be on the cover of the September issue of Vogue: “What that means for a woman of color and what that means in the fashion world, what that means to pop culture, there was no way I could say, ‘No I’m not going to be on the biggest issue of the year.’”

On the “Oscar curse”: “Everybody talks about the Oscar curse,” she says. “People win Oscars, and then it seems like they fall off the planet. And that’s partly because a huge expectation walks in the room and sits right down on top of your head. The moment I won the Oscar, I felt the teardown the very next day. I thought, If I’m going down, I’m going down taking chances and daring to risk. Hence…Catwoman.”

On her appreciation of the female body: “I love the naked female form…. I just feel like that’s the most empowered position you can be in.”

“That comes with age,” she says. “I’ve been slowly getting there. If the world wouldn’t persecute me, I’d take nude pictures every day of the week.”

On her relationship and breakup with Gabriel Aubry:

“It’s just that you realize you are not meant to go the distance with everybody,” she says. “We were meant to bring this amazing little person into the world. And I think that’s why we came together. And because of that, we are going to be together forever, all three of us. We are a family until we are not here anymore.”

“We have always been friends, we’re still friends, we love each other very much, and we both share the love of our lives. And we are both 100 percent committed to being the best parents we can be. And while it was not a love connection for us, he was absolutely the right person to have this child with because she is going to have an amazing father. And that was really important to me.
