Here’s how to get Kristen Stewart’s makeup look by mark Celebrity Makeup Artist Mai Quynh:

“I started by applying mark For Goodness Face Antioxidant Skin Moisturizing Lotion SPF 30 all over Kristen’s skin. Next, I used mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Nude and applied it with the mark Foundation Brush to create a smooth canvas, followed by mark Good Riddance Hook Up Concealer in Fair/Light around her nose and under her eyes.

I then set her foundation with mark Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation in Nude using the mark Powder Brush. Instead of a traditional blush, I used the mark Angled Contour Face Brush to dust mark Glowdacious Illuminating Powder in Prettied Up along her cheekbones.”

Eyes

“First, I prepped the eye area with mark Please Hold Eye Primer in Light/Medium. Next, I lined her top lashes with mark On the Edge Hook Up Liquid Eyeliner in Cleo and carefully layered mark I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Corset on top, smudging along both the top and bottom lash line with the mark Hook Up Eyeliner Brush. To finish the eyes, I applied two coats of mark Lash Splash Hook Up Waterproof Mascara in Black.”

Lips

“I used mark Glow Baby Glow Hook Up Lip Gloss in m.powerment Peach to give Kristen’s lips a shiny, peach finish.”

Get The Look: Actress Nikki Reed made her mark last night on the NYC red carpet premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, along with costar Kristen Stewart. mark Celebrity Makeup Artist Jamie Greenberg spills her top secret tips to create Nikki’s understated, yet elegant look.

Jamie Greenberg Explains How to Get Nikki’s Radiant look:

Eyes: “Nikki has gorgeous dark eyes that I really wanted to play up. I started by smudging mark Eyemarker Color On Line in Java along her upper lash line, followed by two coats of mark Scanda-Lash Hook Up Mascara on the top lashes. For her bottom lashes, I took the tip of the mascara wand and carefully coated each lash for definition, then brushed it out with the wand for separation. I finished by applying mark I-mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Nomadic to her lids and Fairy Dust in her crease.”

Face: “I applied mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Natural to create a smooth canvas followed by mark Get Bright Hook Up Highlighter under her eyes to hide any signs of dark circles. I finished by applying a combination of mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Cameo Glo to the apples of her cheeks, and mark Glow Xpert Face Shimmer in Champagne to the top portion to really bring out the contours of her cheekbones. To create an overall matte finish, I used mark Cheat Sheet Shine Blotters.”

Lips: “To finish off her look, I used mark Dew Drenched Moisturlicious Lip Color in Toffee on her lips, with a layer of mark Pro Gloss Hook Up Plumping Lip Shine in Spice for added shine.”

mark Spokeswoman, Lauren Conrad looked both beautiful and sophisticated in a retro, 1940’s look at the Avon Hope Honors Gala. Lauren attended the star-studded benefit on behalf of m.powerment by mark, the philanthropic initiative dedicated to breaking the cycle of dating abuse and partner violence. Celebrity Makeup Artist Amy Nadine gave her secrets for creating the glammed up look, reminiscent of Lana Turner and Rita Hayworth.

How to Get Lauren’s Retro Look:

Face: “For a perfectly polished complexion, I evened out Lauren’s skin tone with mark Powder Buff Natural Skin Foundation in Natural, for a super-velvety finish. To emphasize the delicate contours of her face, I applied mark Bronze Pro Bronzing Powder starting in the hollow of her cheeks, then directly under her cheekbones, up to her temples, across her hairline and under her jaw line. I then swirled mark Good Glowing Custom Pick Powder Blush in Star Glo on the apples of her cheeks for a subtle rosy glow.”

Eyes: “Lauren loves her signature winged out liquid liner look which I amped up tonight by drawing mark Get In Line Hook Up Liquid Waterproof Eyeliner in Painted Black a little thicker in the outer corners of her eyes. I then coated her lashes in mark Make It Big Lash Plumping Mascara in Raven for thickness and length and added individual lashes to complete the look.”

Lips: “I gave Lauren a classic old-Hollywood red pout with mark Dew Drenched Moisturlicious Lip Color in Wave, a true Hollywood red that is warm enough to look gorgeous on everyone. To properly set the color to last all evening, I dipped a cotton swab in mark Matte-nificent Oil-Absorbing Powder in Natural Buff and carefully traced the outer rims of the lips. For that final touch of extra impact and depth, I added a dab of mark Belle of the Ball Lip Balm in Sheer Red in the center of the lips with my finger.”

m.powerment by mark: Not only is October Breast Cancer Awareness Month, but it’s also a time dedicated to raising awareness for a shockingly prevalent issue facing women of all ages: domestic violence. Unfortunately, statistics show that the highest rates of partner violence are experienced by women between the ages of 16 and 24. That’s a fact we can’t ignore.

The m.powerment by mark campaign is providing young women with the opportunity to change this statistic. mark teamed up with Lauren Conrad, honorary co-chair of this philanthropic initiative, and her favorite Celebrity Makeup Artist, Amy Nadine, to launch two new shades of mark Glow Baby Glow Hook Up Lip Gloss in support of the initiative. 100% of the net proceeds from purchasing either Glow Baby Glow Hook Up Lip Gloss m.powerment Peach or m.powerment Gold will be donated to m.powerment by mark. The glosses retail for $5.50 and are available on www.meetmark.com or through a mark rep.

Amy Nadine did the makeup for Lauren Conrad for the 2009 Hollywood Style Awards using mark cosmetics.

Inspiration: “In honor of stylist Britt Bardo, Lauren mixed rocker-chic with a girly-glam! Her floral bubble dress was paired with studded punk-inspired pumps and her braided half-up hair-do contrasted perfectly with her hot pink lips.”

Here is how to get Lauren Conrad’s makeup look according to celebrity makeup artist Amy Nadine’s blog: www.amynadine.blogspot.com

“To create the look, I first filled in her entire lip with Kissink Lip Tintmarker in Berry Bitten, a lip stain favorite of ours that lasts all night yet isn’t dry or flaky. Then I added a coat of Lip Exotics Lip Lacquer Hook Up in Pop for a luscious wet look with a huge color impact. For her cheeks, I applied Just Pinched Instant Blush Tint in Cheeky, a perfect true pink cream blush, on the apples of her cheeks then dusted above her cheekbones in Twinklebelle (Rose), a shimmery pearlized powder that I also used on her collar bone and shoulders. Finally, to keep all of the emphasis on her winged-out cat eyes (Get In Line Liquid Liner Hook Up in Painted Black), I left her lower lash line undefined, except for a coat of Make It Big Mascara in Raven.”

Eyes: “Kay wore a gorgeous red dress, so we wanted to go glam for her look. For her eyes, I started by applying mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Biscotti as a wash all over her eye and then smudged mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Luvstruck in her creases.
Ginnifer Goodwin, star in the HBO series “Big Love” has made her mark in Hollywood on the red carpet at last nights 2009 Emmy Awards! mark celebrity makeup artist Mai Quynh explains how she created Ginnifer’s gorgeous red carpet look.

How to Get Ginnifer’s Red Carpet look:

Face: “Ginnifer wore a beautiful, Fuschia strapless dress, so we wanted to keep her look more neutral, but focused on her eyes. To get her look, I started by applying mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Buff with a foundation brush. I then applied mark Get Bright Hook Up Highlighter in Light above her cheekbones and mark Good Riddance Hook Up Highlighter in Fair/Light under her eyes. Once the foundation and creams were applied, I set everything by dusting mark Matte-Nificent in Buff/Natural with a powder brush. And finally, to give her a warm glow, I swept mark Good Glowing Mosaic Blush in Hush Baby on her cheeks using the blush/bronzer brush.”

Eyes: “For her eyes, I started by applying mark Winkstick Hook Up Eyeshadow Stick in Glitzy to her entire eyelid. Next, I layered mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Tiki from her lash line to the crease using an eyeshadow brush. I then blended mark I-Mark Custom Pick Eyeshadow in Espresso into the crease of her eyes using an angled contour eyeshadow brush and smudged Tiki along her bottom lash line using an eyeliner brush. I finished by applying two coats of mark Make it Big Lash Plumping Mascara in Raven.”

Lips: “I completed Ginnifer’s look by layering mark Dew Drenched Moisturlicous Lip Color in Skinny Dip and mark Pro Gloss Lip Plumping Lip Shine in Swell to her lips.”

We gave Talking Makeup’s lovely intern, Meryl, some of Lauren Conrad’s favorite mark Cosmetics makeup products to put them to test: mark Lip Exotics Lip Lacquer Hook Up in Fever & mark On the Edge Hook Up Liquid Eyeliner in Cleo.

Meryl created an Old Hollywood Glamour girl look using mark Lip Exotics Lip Lacquer Hook Up in Fever & mark On the Edge Hook Up Liquid Eyeliner in Cleo .

Meryl in mark Cosmetics makeup & necklace.

Here is how to get Meryl’s Old School Hollywood Glamour girl look:

Red lipstick is one of the hottest trends this summer. Many trends come and go but red lipstick will always be here. Think of old schooled Hollywood glamour which featured classy and elegant look. So I tried to pull off the old Hollywood glamour look with one of my favorite lip glosses out right now: mark Lip Exotics Lip Lacquer Hook Up in Fever. The lip gloss is fabulous.

mark Lip Exotics Lip Lacquer Hook Up in Fever creates a sexy, wet look with this conditioning, high-shine, opaque gloss featuring a hint of cool spearmint. This lip gloss was the key to creating my vintage Hollywood look. Since red lips are very dramatic, rest of my face was very simple. I kept my eye shadow light and shimmery color, afterwards I lined entire eye with mark On the Edge Hook Up Liquid Eyeliner in Cleo to get that elegant eye look.

I then applied little mascara, kept blush to a natural tone and now I have completed my old Hollywood glamour look!

I hope you guys like it!
