SKIN

I always prep Miranda’s skin with Neutrogena Healthy Defense Liquid Moisturizer SPF 50 with Helioplex. It delivers moisture and protects her with long lasting and broad-spectrum SPF.

Also, because it’s a liquid formula, it’s super lightweight and perfect for layering under makeup. To even out Miranda’s skin tone and control shine, I blended Neutrogena SkinClearing Oil-Free Makeup in Natural Ivory and, to keep her looking fresh all night, I swirled on Neutrogena SkinClearing Mineral Powder in Classic Ivory.

EYES

To make Miranda’s gorgeous eyes smolder I lined her top lash line with Neutrogena Nourishing Eyeliner in Twilight Blue. This liner glides on smoothly and includes a built-in “smudger” to help create a soft smoky eye. I contoured and highlighted her eyes using Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Quad in Blue Smoke. To finish the look I swept on two coats of Neutrogena Healthy Lengths Mascara in Black to make her lashes look really long.

FINISHING TOUCHES

To give Miranda a flush of color I applied Neutrogena Healthy Skin Custom Glow Blush & Bronzer in Berry Glow. For a soft pink shine on her lips I slicked on Neutrogena MoistureShine Gloss in Healthy Blush.

Makeup artist, Karan Mitchell created Vanessa Hudgens look for the kick-off of Neutrogena’s Wave for Change campaign at the Neutrogena Beach House in Malibu, California:

For the beach-side event, Vanessa wanted her makeup to be “golden and whimsical.” Since it was a sunny day I made sure to use products that were not only beautiful but were packed with SPF protection.

SKIN

Even bare, Vanessa’s skin looked soft and bright. She’s been using the new Neutrogena Wave Sonic Power Cleanser and her skin felt incredibly smooth as I applied her makeup.

First I prepped her skin first with Neutrogena Healthy Defense Liquid Moisturizer SPF 50. It is a liquid moisturizer that sinks right into the skin so it wears beautifully under makeup. For her foundation I used Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup SPF 20 in Tan and I perked up her eyes with the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Brightening Eye Perfector in Medium.

On her cheeks I used the bronze shade of the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Custom Glow Blush & Bronzer in Natural Glow which I also used under the cheekbones for contour.

EYES

I started with the peach base color from the Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Quad in Butter Crème and applied it all over her eyelid, up to the brow. It has an SPF of 15, so protect delicate eyelids from the damaging effects of the sun.

Next, I used the copper shade on her lids from the Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Quad in Copper Glow. I also applied the golden shade to the middle and the inside corners of her lids with a dampened brush.

Then, I lined only the top of her eyelid with the Neutrogena Nourishing Eyeliner in Cosmic Black and applied some individual lashes. I finished her eyes with two coats of Neutrogena Healthy Lengths Mascara in Carbon Black.

LIPS

For a peachy pout I used Neutrogena MoistureShine Lipstick, with SPF 20 in Peach a Boo, and layered the Neutrogena MoistureShine Gloss in Healthy Peach over top of it for a glassy finish.

5. Brows: First applied Anastasia Beverly Hills Golden Blonde Powder Duo, the light shade, and then MAC Brow Set in Mink (light brown shade).
6. Nails: MAC Nail Polish in Coral Wave from MAC Color Forecast Collection.

Under it all I applied Neutrogena Ultra Sheer liquid daily sunblock SPF 55 to protect myself from the very sunny Scottsdale day:)

It’s been sunny in New York City recently and Spring is in the air everywhere. That means more time in the sun. I just discovered Neutrogena Ultra Sheer liquid daily sunblock to use under my makeup. The magic word here is liquid. It dispenses as a white cream that very easily turns into a spreadable liquid on the skin. No need to rub vigorously anymore and it doesn’t leave a white residue (sounds familiar?) You hardly feel it on your face it is so light. I applied it this morning after my serum and before my foundation.
