CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist Angela Levin worked with Jennifer Aniston at the New York premiere of The Bounty Hunter on Tuesday, March 16th, 2010.

The Makeup Look & Inspiration: “I was inspired by her gorgeous nude dress and her beachy hair. She worked with hair stylist Chris McMillan who created long soft waves to frame her beautiful face.”

Makeup Tutorial: How to get Jennifer Aniston’s warm sun kissed makeup look by CHANEL Celebrity Makeup Artist Angela Levin

“I prepped Jen’s skin with CHANEL Sublimage Serum. Then, as I base I used CHANEL Mat Lumiere Fluid Makeup in Natural all over the face, with a bit of the CHANEL Natural Finish Pressed Powder in Clair. For the eyes, concealer, and cheeks, I used a fabulous new palette – Collection Essentielle de CHANEL Multi-Use Make-Up Palette in Paris-New York.

On her lids I used the light beige powder shade all over, and in the crease I applied the light brown shade. I wet that same shade, and used an eyeliner brush to line the eyes – top and bottom. Finally, I took a bit of the reddish brown shade and applied it under the eyes. The red hue in the powder really made Jen’s blue eyes pop. To finish the eyes, I applied two coats of CHANEL Inimitable Mascara.

For the cheeks, I used my fingers to dab on the cream blush from the Paris-New York palette, and dusted on my favorite bronzer, Soleil Tan de CHANEL in Desert Corail. Finally, to complete the look, I applied CHANEL Rouge Coco Lip Colour in Beige Felin, a beautiful beigy nude colour, topped with the pink glosses from the Paris-New York palette.”

GET THE LOOK: Christina Aguilera wears NARS makeup at the 67th Golden Globe Awards. The Look & Inspiration: “I wanted to create a soft natural look on Christina to compliment her gown and new haircut,” said Kristofer Buckle for NARS Cosmetics. “Her dress choice was a beautiful pastel peach with silver. I didn’t want the look to fight with her gown. The final look is chic and seamless, with a earthy colored smokey eye and glowing skin.”

Below is Kristofer’s step-by-step makeup tutorial on how to to recreate Christina’s makeup look:

Complexion
· Use the Balancing Moisture Lotion and apply the Makeup Primer as a base
· Apply Firming Foundation and set with Pressed Powder

Eyes
· Apply the vanilla side of India Song Duo Eyeshadow as a base, over the entire lid and up to eyebrow

· Next, use the shimmering walnut shade of India Song Duo Eyeshadow and apply to the outer corner and under the bottom lash line

· Then, use the warm rich brown side of Cordura Duo Eyeshadow just under eye rubbing into the lower lash line to create smokey eye

· Curl the eyelashes and apply a coat of Larger Than Life Lengthening Mascara to top and bottom lashes, following with 2 coats of Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara for full lashes

· Take Nuits Blanches Eyeliner Stylo and dot in between individual lashes [Kristofer’s tip:“I used the Push Eyeliner Brush to blend the eyeliner in between the lashes, which helped to apply just enough without looking to heavy.”]

Lips
· Use the Fantasia Lipliner Pencil and Niagara Lipstick
· Next, apply Easy Lover Lip Gloss (NEW for Spring 2010) over [Kristofer’s tip:“Applying a sheer pink gloss on top of a nude colored lip provides a nice modern pop of color.”]

Cheeks
· Generously apply Orgasm Illuminator (NEW for Spring 2010) to cheekbones, décolletage, and shoulders for an all over glow

· Use Malaysia Multiple Bronzer to contour cheeks by blending under cheekbones

· Apply the Mata Hari Blush to the apple of cheeks and lightly tap on browbone [Kristoper’s tip: “Lightly dusting a blush on the browbone gives life to the eye and melds the whole look together.”]

· Next, with short, back and forth quick strokes use Nico Blush to highlight cheekbones

Orgasm Illuminator will be available at Sephora on February 1 and all other NARS Cosmetics are available at www.narscosmetics.com

Thevi Cosmetics founder Thevaki Thambirajah.

With roots that reach deep into the Indian sub-continent, Thevi was born of Sri Lankan parents in New York State. As a young woman, beginning her career and enjoying a busy social life, Thevi could never find cosmetics in shades that suited her coloring. She felt a keen need for a prestige makeup brand with colors that were rich and vibrant without being harsh, and Thevi Cosmetics was born.

Thevi represents the New Ethnic Market: light-to-dark skinned woman of Asian, South Asian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, and Mediterranean descent. And we think it’s brilliant! Because finding the right shade of foundation is a key to a flawless face. There is still a room for expanding the makeup color scheme, and thanks for visionaries like Thevaki Thambirajah for making it happen.

Talking Makeup tried few of Thevi products and we are impressed. The quality of ingredients is definitely there.

We particularly liked the following Thevi products:
Mineral Pressed Powder SPF 8, $30.
Liquid Powder Mineral Foundation SPF 15, $32.
Lush Mascara, $18.
Automatic Longlasting Lipliner (my favorite is in Heather, and I added it to my makeup bag), $16.50.
