How to get Cameron Diaz’ Oscars 2010 makeup look:

Robin started off by applying CHANEL Soft Touch Eye Shadow in Sand in the crease of the lids, and lining the entire eye with CHANEL Intense Eye Pencil in Noir. To make Cameron’s striking blue eyes pop even more, Robin applied several coats of CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir. Hair Tutorial: Pink’s look at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards was a shimmering vision of modern glamour. Stylist Marco Santini, who highlighted glistening shine to play up her platinum hair color, and define her texture and subtle grey tips, created the sophisticated red carpet look.

Santini, inspired by her silver-grey gown and the dramatic performance to come, created a unique, flowing shape that emphasized volume, height, and the illusion of movement. He accented the look with a diamond star-shaped pin. Santini stayed with Pink after the red carpet, and was backstage waiting to quickly reproduce the look right after her stunning aerial performance of “Glitter in the Air” during which she was drenched in a shower of water. “I had to work very quickly to restyle her look,” explained Santini. “I used Moroccanoil argan oil-infused products because I know they instantly absorb into hair, produce amazing shine, and won’t create build up. The look had to appear as fresh, light, and beautiful the second time around as it did for the red carpet.”

GET THE LOOK: How Marco Santini Created Pink’s Much Discussed Look:

Step 1:
Santini started by applying Moroccanoil Treatment throughout the singer’s damp hair to create a silky-smooth shine. He placed a small amount in the palm of his hand then combed through the hair with his fingers.

Step 2:
Next Santini applied argan oil-infused Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream from the roots through the ends for lift at the root and to give sofshine-enhancing hold, as well as create a “grip” for his brush while blow drying shape and direction.

Step 3
After Pink’s cropped locks were blow-dried, Santini misted new argan-oil infused Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray on the outer layer and saturated several layers inside the hair from root to end. Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray leaves hair looking weightless and gives the hair glistening shine without sticky residue or build-up (especially important in this style since Santini had to reproduce the look after her Grammy performance). Santini then brushed the sides of Pink’s hair back and sculpted a rockabilly fold toward the nape of the neck.

Step 4
He finished the look with a light mist of Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray all over the hair (from a distance of 10-12 inches) for an instant boost of shine. The final touch to Pink’s Grammy look was a star-shaped diamond brooch that was fastened to the front of her hair. Santini took a small section of hair towards the front of her head and tied it with a clear rubber band., then fastened the diamond brooch to the hair for an elegant touch.

The award show season is officially upon us, which means gorgeous gowns and trendsetting beauty looks are de riguer on the red carpet. The Golden Globes set the bar pretty high, but the the Screen Actors Guild  Awards (SAG), which were held on Saturday, took the glam factor to the max. They say true glamour never goes out of style and in the case of Diane Kruger, Anna Kendrick and Marion Cotillard, this couldn’t be more true. Each of these stunning stars opted for retro, old-school Hollywood vibe, which meant classic, structured updo’s, seriously smoky eyes, lots of lashes and a strong lip look. GET THE LOOK: The Office’s Jenna Fischer looked beyond gorgeous on the red carpet at Saturday’s SAG Awards 2010. Jenna wore a purple, jeweled, strapless Marchesa gown and beautiful silver accessories. She had her hair pulled in a low, side bun. For makeup, she and her makeup artist Jennifer Pitt wanted to keep makeup fresh and natural looking, with an element of surprise. “Jenna likes to let her real skin show through,” said Jennifer. “With this colorful, glamorous dress, we felt a touch of drama to the eyes would be fun.”

The Breakdown: How to get Jenna’s Sultry Makeup Look at the 2010 SAG Awards

FACE: To keep her skin fresh looking, I started out with shu uemura’s Depsea Hydrabilty Moisturizing Emulsion. I then applied a bit of shu uemura’s UV Under Base Fluid on her cheek bones, under her eyes and on her brow bones. I wanted to take advantage of the product’s smoothing effect and the light-reflecting particles to give her skin a flawless finish. For her foundation, I used the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. They have the amazing ability to be used either for light-weight coverage. Peachy tones look great with Jenna’s skin and went really well with her purple dress, so I used shu uemura’s Glow On blush in M Peach 44.

EYES: To get the look for her eyes, I used shu uemura’s new Eye Shimmer Duo in Glint Blue. The brown base and the blue silver seemed to complement her look and coloring perfectly. I used a dark plum eyeliner along the lash line for deeper definition. To keep the smoky eye fresh, and not too heavy, I decided to line the bottom lid with a soft taupe liner.

LIPS: On her lips I used the shu uemura’s Rouge Unlimited Supreme Shine lip colors. They have great pigments with a nice sheer coverage. I blended two colors to get the perfect shade for Jenna. I started with a base of Rouge Unlimited Supreme Shine in BG 943 (a pretty nude color) to define and moisturize her lips, and then I added a bit of Rouge Unlimited Supreme Shine in OR 520 (a peachy shade) to give her lips a pop of color.

BODY: To complete the look, we moisturized her arms, chest and back and applied Fluid Sheer #5 by Armani to give her skin the same radiant look that her makeup had.

GET THE LOOK: Nicole Kidman’s hairstyle at the 2010 SAG Awards

Celebrity hairdresser David Babaii achieved Nicole Kidman’s red carpet look by combining eras of vintage fabric textures with the perfect epoch red hair color. According to David, “Nicole Kidman always inspires me but for the 2010 SAG Awards, her beautiful skin tone and breathtaking beauty took the lead. The right style and hair color became my main objective.” David fell in love with this unique period wig that had various tones of ginger.

In order to achieve the perfect color match, David sought out the master talents of celebrity hair colorist Lorri Goddard-Clark. Lorri created Nicole’s rich new color, while David created the perfect texture needed to enhance this natural but classic “Bohemian” look.

The Color: Lorri Goddard-Clark matched the vintage wig selected by David Babaii by utilizing a combination of deposit-only color, her signature foil-out reverse highlighting technique and a sulfate-free glaze. Nicole’s hair was transformed from a medium blonde into a rich, warm Gingered Toffee Red to enhance her azure eyes and porcelain skin.

According to Lorri, “It was truly an honor to work with David: he is a genius. I was thrilled to collaborate with him on this look for Nicole Kidman.”

The Style: David gently towel dried the hair and sprayed Bohemian Beach Spray throughout. Next, he gently rough dried the hair moving his hands in various directions to create texture. Once dry, he fashioned a center part and divided tresses into 4 sections (sides, back crown & nape). Starting at the nape area, he alternated between 1″ and 1 ½” ceramic curling irons, taking “V” shaped partings. He then wrapped hair around the inside of the barrel, holding for 10 seconds then gently releasing the curl. With each alternating curl, David slid his fingers up the curl to gently create a soft back combing effect and enhanced texture. After finishing the entire head, David used his fingers and added extra Bohemian Beach Spray to loosen the curls and highlight the richness of the hair color.

Nicole Kidman’s dress at the 2010 SAG Awards was Oscar De La Renta. Marta Walsh says: Great dress, just NOT on Kidman. I didn’t like how the red hair color matched the dress. It was too much. I love you Oscar though, and you Nicole:)

GET THE LOOK: On Saturday, January 23, 2010 at the Shrine Auditorium in LA, Hollywood honored its own top talent at the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. Nominated for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a TV Movie or Miniseries, for her role in Georgia O’Keefe, Joan Allen sparkled and shone on the red carpet. Sebastian Stylist Design Team member Thomas Dunkin crafted the actress’ soft, cascading waves that gracefully grazed her shoulders and complemented her overall look.

To recreate this A-list style at home, Thomas shares these step-by-step instructions:

1. To begin, apply Sebastian Professional Taming Elixir to slightly damp hair
2. Blow-dry hair straight to give the hair a smooth, even base to work on and part slightly to the left of center
3. Once dry, use a ¾-inch curling iron to wave the hair by starting at the nape and taking 2-inch sections of hair and leaving them loose to drop slightly

4. Apply step 3 to whole head except for a 2-inch section around the front to the top of the ear
5. Use a ½-inch curling iron on this remaining section and pin curls back using very small blonde matte bobby pins, continuing into the front for a slightly smaller wave
6. Take random pieces of hair and pin them back, allowing pieces to fall out softly giving a touch of looseness to the hairstyle
7. Finish the look with Sebastian Professional Zero Gravity hairspray to give a gentle but very sufficient hold on the hair

Face

I evened out her complexion with mark Face Xpert Flawless Touch Makeup in Golden then buffed Champagne onto her cheek bones for emphasis. I then used mark Eyemarker Color On Line in Jet and carefully rimmed the top and bottom of her eyes, then used mark On The Edge Hook Up Liquid Eyeliner in Cleo to create a perfect line on the top lid strictly for definition. I finished up her eyes with two coats of mark Scanda-Lash Hook Up Mascara in Blacklash focusing on the corner of her lashes to really draw them out.”

Lips

BEST DRESSED: I adored Anna Paquin’s dress at the 2010 SAG Awards. The colors looked amazing on Anna. Loved the matching gold infused shoes, hair and makeup.
