Sienna Miller made a dramatic entrance to the 2010 MET Ball wearing a stunning navy blue Emilio Pucci gown. The hair, created by celebrity stylist John D. was strongly inspired by the classic, sensual beauty of Brigitte Bardot.

According to John D., ” I first prepped her slightly damp hair with Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream, applying a small amount on the palm of my hand then finger-combing it throughout the hair. I used it to hydrate and protect the hair as well as helping to counteract the humidity in the air and prevent frizz. Next I did a super-clean, simple blowout using a flat bristle brush.

I wanted to smooth out any natural wave yet still leave a bit of volume at the root. After the hair was dry, I decided on a messy center part, then pulled back the front part of hair, and fastened half into an undone half-upstyle. I left a bit of volume at the crown so it would look slightly messy, yet classically Bardot. The weather was very humid in New York this evening and the red carpet happened between rainstorms, so I had to rely on a spray I could trust to keep her style in place and under control. So I finished the look with new Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray, which is strong enough to keep the style in place and tame frizz, but soft enough to make sure Sienna’s hair looked natural and beautiful.”

Sienna Miller, btw, was Marta’s favorite on the red carpet last night at MTV Movie Awards! Sienna was the best dressed and styled. I loved her green short dress which looked a bit 1960′s retro to me. When I think of the ultimate rock chic girl, I think Sienna Miller!

Love Sienna Miller’s hair and naturally tousled waves at MTV Movie Awards 2009?  Here is how to get Sienna’s look, thanks to Frederick Fekkai:

Adir started out with the Fekkai marine hair zero-humidity frizz control to block humidity while sealing in hydration to keep sleek for all-day frizz & flyaway protection. He then added the fekkai coif bouffant lifting & texturizing spray gel at the roots to add lift and volume.

Then he blow-dried the hair completely. Once hair was fully dried, he took a 1 1/4″ curling iron and wrapped hair around the iron in small sections, leaving the ends out to create more of a rock n’ roll vibe. Once Adir finished the curling, he took sections of hair and applied fekkai coiff magnifique ultra-light finishing crème to create a little separation on ends. This is an easy look to achieve in less than 20 min.
