The facts: This multi award-winning, concentrated cleanser quickly removes everyday grime and make-up, including stubborn mascara, to leave all skin types soft, smooth and radiant. It is extremely gentle and safe to use around the eyes to remove even stubborn mascara. This cleanser contains cocoa butter to moisturise, eucalyptus oil to purify and chamomile to soothe the skin. Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser is best used with the muslin cloth, to leave skin exceptionally clean and smooth.

Talking Makeup’s experience: A mini spa in a bottle. I think I’m in love with Liz Earle’s Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser! It actually made me wash my face every night, because it makes cleansing your face easy. I love the cleanser’s thick consistency and divine smell.

It gives your skin a fresh sensation as soon as you apply. And the hot cloths are amazing! I run hot water in the sink, wet the the cloth and wipe my face and also cover my face with it. The cloth retains heat nicely, so I feel like I’m having a steam treatment in a spa. Beautiful product! Secret: even my husband loves it!

Bergamot is a small pear-shaped orange that gets its name from the city of Bergamo in Italy where it was first sold. Renowned for its uplifting properties, Bergamot oil is used extensively in perfumery and Earl Grey tea.

Our organic Bergamot oil is extracted from the rinds of fruits in the sun drenched orchards of the Calabria region in Southern Italy.

An uplifting fragrance with zesty top notes of lemons, oranges and mandarins and infused with aromatic undertones of lavender, rosemary and peppermint.

Lavender (Lavendula Angustifolia)
Lavender is thought to derive from the Latin word ‘lavera’ (to wash) as the Romans used it to scent their bath water. Reputed for its relaxing properties, lavender oil is cherished as a perfumer’s essential.

Using organic French lavender from the hillsides of Grasse, Space NK Hands’ essential oil is distilled from the flowering lavender tops to ensure the most aromatic and pure fragrance.

(June 4, 2008-New York New York) Space NK, the UK beauty destination that opened their US flagship location on Greene Street in SOHO just under a year ago, now brings Face Value (Berkley Books-a division of Penguin USA) to New York-the latest book steeped in the world of beauty.

Just as Space NK began in the UK, so did author Kathleen Baird-Murray, who is best known for her time as a Beauty Director for Tatler Magazine. In her new book, Face Value, just out this week at Borders, Kathleen brings together the best of beauty, plastic surgery and publishing.

While a work of fiction, Kathleen takes inspiration from her days in the beauty department at Tatler, providing an insight into her “beauty closet”-from the labels, products, tips and trends that we all crave to make ourselves beautiful.

Last night Space NK honored Kathleen with a cocktail soiree and book signing, celebrating the launch of Face Value and the world of beauty.
