Here is an interview with fashion designer Alexis LaMontagna, backstage and just minutes before the debut of her Fall 2008 Collection at LA Fashion Week.

Interview with fashion designer Alexis LaMontagna by Marta Walsh:

Marta: What is the look for your Fall 2008 collection?
Alexis: The look for this season is goth glamour. Gothic Jean Harlow.

Marta: What was your inspiration for this look?
Alexis: 1920’s Hollywood Glamour, mixed with a Dita Von Teese and Morticia Adams.

Marta: What colors dominate your collection?
Alexis: You will see a lot of black and red. They are my favorite colors.

Marta: What type of clothes have you designed for this show?
Alexis: This collection includes jeans, high waited slacks, low waisted slacks, cashmere sweaters, leather jackets. We have couple of beautiful gowns and silk little dresses. So it’s everything!

Marta: What is the hair and makeup look to go with your collection?
Alexis: Goth glamour.
