Thomas Pink’s Real Men Wear Pink Father’s Day Campaign
On Tuesday night, June 15th, 2010, Thomas Pink and Boston Bruins fans flocked to the Thomas Pink boutique in Copley Place to score the perfect gift for Dad. In preparation for Father’s Day on Sunday, Bruins fighter, Shawn Thornton, was present at the store to offer customized style tips and advice on selecting that hard to find gift, no matter how discerning the Dad.

Major league sports stars have come out to support from coast to coast with an in-store shopping event series, starting in San Francisco and then traveling east to New York City and Boston. Third baseman, Kevin Kouzmanoff, hit a homerun in the Post Street store in San Francisco on June 5, while New York Giants’ Terrell Thomas wooed fans off of Madison Avenue in New York City on June 10.
All three sports heroes were a part of Thomas Pink’s ‘Real Men Wear Pink’ Father’s Day campaign, to celebrate the more immediate heroes in our lives, our Fathers. Thomas Pink continues to be a favorite destination for classic shirting and stylish accessories for men everywhere, so what better way to impress Dad than with something personally selected by a local sports hero.
The sports stars took part in pictures, chatted with guests and hand-selected the charity in each city that 15 percent of the event proceeds directly benefited. Kevin Kouzmanoff and Terrell Thomas chose the Wender Weis Foundation and All Stars Helping Kids charities, respectively – both of which seek to improve the lives of disadvantaged children. On Tuesday evening, a portion of the event proceeds went to Shawn’s charity of choice, the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
With the help of Kevin, Terrell, Shawn and sports fans across the nation, Thomas Pink guarantees Dad will look at the top of his game this Father’s Day.
