Chloë Grace Moretz Hair
Celebrity hairstylist Gregory Russell worked with Chloë Grace Moretz for Coach And Friends Of The High Line Summer Party on Wednesday, June 22nd in Los Angeles, CA.
BEAUTY INSPIRATION:
“I wanted to give a stronger look to compliment the 80’s vibe of her leather skirt and pointed pumps.”
GET THE LOOK:
I started on Chloe’s damp hair with Sachajuan Root Lift through the entire top of her head. I then used OUAI Wave Spray through the lengths. Next I rough dried the back and sides of her hair with my Parlux 3800 Blow Dryer. I then used my Mason Pierson Popular Mixture Hair Brush to smooth and blow dry the top of the head with a lot of volume by blow drying straight up on the brush and pin curling each section as I went. After fully dry I sectioned the sides and back into two sections and twisted them together. I then sprayed the twist lightly with more OUAI Wave Spray and added a Hot Sock to my blow dryer and heated up until wave spray was dry. I then switched the heat setting to cool and cool off the twist for five minutes. Once cooled, I used a flat iron to add some bend and movement to thick sections on the top, keeping the ends straight. Next I used Kevin Murphy Doo Over throughout, concentrating on the top sections and used Oribe Rough Luxury Paste to the ends throughout for definition and texture. Next I used a comb to slick the sides back and secured them with bobby pins. I set the style with OUAI Soft Lacquer Hairspray for gold and humidity protection!
