About Nonoo:

Born in Bahrain and raised in London, Misha Nonoo was exposed to varied cultural influences from an early age. Drawing inspiration from childhood memories of visits to the vibrant and colourful Arabian souks combined with the cutting-edge street looks of cool Britannia her eponymous collection, Nonoo melds both worlds. Misha Nonoo founded her interest in the business of fashion while working for a Parisian dress-maker after relocating to Paris in 2005. She remained there until 2008 when she moved to New York City and began establishing her fashion career in the historic Garment District.

The now New York-based, British designer has quickly become known for offering modern women finely crafted, tailored pieces at accessible price points. Launching her first independent collection in 2010, Misha Nonoo employs classic design principles to create understated elegance through sculpted shapes and proper fit. Created for individuals who seek timeless elegance and daring cool, the Nonoo collection advocates the importance of structured design through the designer’s unrivaled craftsmanship.

“Growing up in London I became acutely aware of the subtle differences that separate mass designer brands from true English “Savile Row” tailoring. I became fascinated with the quiet details that only a curious eye could see” Misha Nonoo.

In 2011, Misha Nonoo was selected as one of the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation’s women’s RTW finalists and the 2012 recipient of Fashion Group International’s prestigious ‘Rising Star Award’ for women’s designer RTW. Past ‘Rising Star’ winners include Alexander Wang, Thom Brown and Jason Wu. Since the launch of the Nonoo label, the seasonal collection is presented at Milk Studio during New York City’s Fashion Week.
