Elettra Wiedemann at the 2010 MET Ball

Lancôme spokesmodel Elettra Wiedemann was a vision in crimson at last night’s Met Ball. Makeup artist Ewa Szwed paired Elettra’s gorgeous Marni gown with a striking red lip.

To create a subtle smoky eye, Ewa smudged Lancôme Ink Artliner in Sparkling Noir (available Fall 2010) along the upper and lower lash line and then applied Lancôme Le Stylo Waterproof in Noir to the waterline. Lancôme Color Design Eyeshadow in Backstage Pass and Garment were mixed together and swept over the liner.

Using a brush, Ewa added more Backstage Pass to the lid starting with the outer corner and blended towards the inner corner. Next, Ewa generously coated the lashes using Lancôme Hypnôse Waterproof Mascara in Black. The cheeks were soft and natural. Lancôme Absolue Powder in Absolute Peche was used to contour under the apples of the cheek. Ewa used a trio of products to create the perfect lip. First, Lancôme Le Crayon Lip Pencil in Berry was applied to the entire lip. Next, L’Absolu Rouge in Berry Noir was pressed on to the lip and L’Absolu Rouge in Absolute Rouge was dabbed in the middle to create a rich, red-stained pout.
