I havn’t tried the product yet, but you can go to http://www.skiniD.com for more feedback and information.
Comment by Stefano on 31 May 2008:

Comment by Brittany on 5 June 2008:
Skin id has worked great for me. It cleared my skin tramendously. I am way more cofedent then I was before. Skin id is now my new partner in crime.
Comment by Mimi on 10 June 2008:
In your kit you get a free spot treatment and a free bad. The spot treatment is awesome, too! I had a huge pimple and used it, and by the next day it went away. I’m very amazed.
Comment by Neomi on 13 June 2008:
I’m allergic to Benzoyl Peroxide. Nowhere in the Skin ID site (http://www.skiniD.com) does it reveal what is in the product … I only found out what the active ingredients are here.
Strangely, there are no questions that ask if you are allergic to either Salicylic Acid or Benzoyl Peroxide. Of course I was recommended to use one of the Benzoyl Peroxide products. Be careful! You may not know that you’re allergic until you put it on your face, and your eyes swell shut. Not fun.

Comment by Lorena on 19 August 2008:
I had website problems too when using firefox. I viewed and was able to buy the product using safari as my browser.
Try another browser other than the one you are currently using or try updating it.

Comment by Beth on 29 September 2008:
I wear makeup after I use skin id everyday and it has been working just fine…I’ve been using the product for a little over a month now and no problems yet.
Comment by Brittany on 2 October 2008:
OK, so i tried almost everything under the sun for ance. and nothing worked so i figured id try this out, cause whats it gonna hurt right. well i filled out all the questions and ordered my packet. ive been using it for 3 days now and can already tell a difference. I use it 3 times a day. morning, after work, and right before bed…it does make my skin dry and tight but after you put the moisturizer it feels better, like a cooling sensation. but seriously i would at least try it cause it seems to be doing the trick for me. AND i have EXTREMELY sensitive skin and its doing good so far. AND yes i put make up on after I use it. But because it makes your skin tight until you use the moisturizer so be prepared for giving the washing face to putting on the makeup a good 20 min of process time to be all done
Comment by Ian on 11 January 2009:
I’m not gonna lie i’ve tried everything and my acne isn’t bad it’s just annoying but i wanna try out this skin ID because it seems like it’s more personalized than just “oh here ya go this stuff ‘should’ get rid of your acne” so i’m hopin when i get this stuff it works.
P.S. Proactiv sucks! Just because Jessica Simpson is on the commercial gives it no right to treat acne. It actually made my skin worse.
Comment by yolanda merilstein on 13 January 2009:
ya skin id is GREATTT!!!
CLEAR SKIN IN A WEEK! CLEAR AS WATER!!!!!!!!!!
WANT CLEAR SKIN?!!
BUy Skin id!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Comment by Camille on 9 February 2009:
I, too, have tried every product and every combination of products you could possibly think of. At the end of the day I still am left with the Alps on my forehead and the Sahara Desert on my nose. I’ve done lots and lots of research on this Skin iD and I have heard about 20 success stories and only 1 non-success story. I am extremely hopeful for the outcome of this product. I think it helps to read online posts cause you know these are real people speaking… not paid actors.
And I agree, Proactiv does really suck and it bleaches all your towels!!!!!
Comment by luz on 12 February 2009:
I wanna know if this REALLY works & if it is just people making stuff up trying to get people to buy their product!
HELP!!
Comment by Forgen on 20 February 2009:
It works. I bought 3 boxes. It works. That’s a definite yes, because I tried it and it worked. I’ve tried every product, and this one is almost the best. You won’t be disappointed.
Comment by Stacey on 21 February 2009:
Yay i am glad to hear that skin id might actually work for me. after reading these posted comments i think i will buy some. I have used so many different products and went to 2 dermatologists that never worked and whenever i see the commercials for them i get sick to my stomach and change the channel immediately. as for proactive i used it. it did not work for me
i still use the mask because it seems to help calm down the apperance and redness of my pimples but thats all. i want my face to be smooooooooth!
so ill definitely try this skin id!
Comment by tattoo needles on 24 February 2009:
Well, I’d like to know where I can buy them! Thank you
Comment by KERRYMAY on 3 March 2009:

Comment by caron on 4 March 2009:
I am thinking about buying skin id as well. My skin is not bad but at my age I am too old to worry about my skin. (not old, in my thirties)
Comment by Jodi on 4 March 2009:
I hope this stuff works!!! I just received my kit and can’t wait to use it. Wish me luck, I definitely need it!!!!!
Comment by Grace on 24 March 2009:
I notice that in all of the before pictures the person’s hair is disheveled, and in the after pictures the person’s hair is very neat, and they all appear to have acquired a tan as well. This makes me less confident that the product really works, since it appears to be a marketing push, and I also know how easy it is to touch up photos. Too bad you can’t use “REAL” before and after photos, and not these fake ones. I will probably try the product anyway, but I wanted Neutrogena to know an intelligent person’s response to their before/after campaign. Not convinced.
Comment by Misslisa on 1 April 2009:
I just orders Skin ID. I hope it works.
Comment by CRYSTAL on 30 April 2009:
SKIN ID DOES WORK. I’VE TRIED EVERYTHING AND NOTHING HAS WORKED TILL NOW. I STARTED SEEING RESLUTS THE FIRST DAY. I’VE BEEN USING IT FOR A WEEK NOW AND MY FACE HAS SEVERLY CLEARED UP. I’M SO MUCH HAPPIER AND CONFIDENT.
Comment by Danielle on 9 May 2009:
Honestly I’ve tried other neutrogena products and I’m not convinced the things they sent me aren’t the exact same thing I’ve got in the store but with different packaging. I have the cream cleanser, the pads, and the benzoyl peroxide cream, oh and the spot treatment. Now I told the evaluation my skin is extremely sensitive yet I get the benzoyl peroxide anyways ugh it burns my skin and the cream cleanser, pads, and spot treatment is literally the EXACT same thing as their Rapid Clear line… the “microclear technology” yeah doesn’t work. I don’t have acne much but I do get break outs and even while using these products regularly they neither clear it up nor prevent it. Maybe it’d help for the chronic acne prone people but it’s not worth the price for skin Id since like I said you can get it at the stores and cheaper. *shrugs* Waste of time and money…
Comment by Beth on 28 May 2009:
This is the first product review I’ve ever written. I had perfect skin my whole life until I reached the age of 25 (I’m now 27). I got the worst case of adult acne ever. I spent a FORTUNE on products from Sephora, then went to a pricey New York dermatologist who put me on prescription face washes. Nothing worked – NOTHING! With my wedding approaching, I spent a week of my life researching everything having to do with acne (I could write a dermatology book now, honestly) and came to the conclusion that all skin is not created equal. Just because Proactiv works on one person, doesn’t mean it will work on another. The same goes with any product that uses the same formula for everyone. That’s when I saw the SkinID commercial for the first time. Their philosophy of tailoring products to your skin type made complete sense to me. I took the test three times (just to make sure I kept getting the same response) and bought the introductory kit. My skin is absolutely perfect now after two months. I experienced a little drying at first while my skin got used to it, but that was easily remedied with some mild Cetaphil lotion. For all the comments that this is no different than the stuff available in drugstores, I highly disagree. You can feel the quality of the products when you use them. Just be sure to go through the whole routine twice a day. You won’t be sorry.
Comment by Becca on 9 September 2009:
All of these posts have made me very confident that skin ID will work. I just purchaced mine today and I am counting down the days until I recive it! I want it to come today! I hope my results are like everyone elses
Comment by maria on 16 January 2010:
well I jusst took the test and after reading all of those comments I think that I might trie it hopefully it works:)
Comment by Charlotte on 25 January 2010:
I read a comment about Neutrogena not letting anyone know that benzoyl peroxide and salacytic acid were in the products. That’s not true. They spedifically say almost all of the regimens contain one of these active ingredients. That’s because when used correctly, they work on almost all acne. It’s the combination of active ingredients to treat acne, along with ingredients to treat your other skin problems that make it personalized for you. Just wanted to clear that up. It’s worth the extra few bucks to get something that will work on my skin the first time, instead of buying and trashing a hundred tubes of drugstore products that may have the same active ingredient, but don’t work for me.
Comment by jennifer Q on 26 January 2010:
I was wondering about what makeup to use over the skinid products..?
Comment by Yahaira on 6 March 2010:
I just got skin Id in the mail yesterday afternoon and I tried it last night. After applying it to my face, I started to feel this itching feeling. So I tottaly ignore it. This morning I woke up with swollen eyes. Errrrrrrr. So upset. This happen to me when I used proactiv and I thought it wouldn’t happen again. So now I know for sure I am allergic to the benzoyl peroxide. So aggitating. Do they make it without it?
Comment by VIvian on 6 March 2010:
I just got skinid yesterday in the mail and used it last night. I put it on in the morning after I got out of the shower and now I’m about to put it on again right now. I haven’t seen any results so far but this will only be my third time using it so lets just wait and see… Wish me luck!
Comment by Joni on 8 April 2010:
I purchased Skinid last week and received it this past Monday. I’ve been using it (and the body wash) since without fail. It is now Thursday and I can see a dramatic change in my skin. I had mild acne on my face and the breakouts I did get was generally pretty prevalent and painful around the time of my cycle. I can honestly say that this product works. I’m 23 years old and started breaking out once I hit high school…10th grade to be exact. I tried Proactive in high school and I didn’t like it because it dried out my face immensely. The only point that I would make about Skinid is avoid your eye area when putting it on. I was fine the first 2 days and then this morning I woke up to puffy swollen eyes. I looked it up to see if anyone else has had this reaction online and I’m finding that it is not that rare of an occurance so just be careful in that respect. Other than that, the body wash is great. At first I somewhat compared it to the other Neutrogena Body wash you buy in the store that comes in the orange and white bottle but then after seeing how my skin was changing after its use, I knew it was different. I have had issues with my arms and back with acne for quite some time now and NEVER have I felt my skin this smooth and seen the pore size minimized this much especially in such a short time. As I said, I’ve not been using the product for long but it has already more than proven itself in just 3 days. I’m excited to see what else it can do after a month!
Comment by Heather on 25 May 2010:
I purchased Skin iD three months ago and have used it according to the instructions since then. I have noticed absolutely no change in my skin, except for it being drier than normal. I still get acne in the exact same spots as before. I do not wear makeup or touch my face, and my diet is fairly good. I have also noticed that my face will not get any color from sitting in the sun, which I know is bad for you, but you only live once. So all in all, I have canceled my membership. It may have worked for everyone else, but not for me.
Comment by lisa on 15 July 2010:
I recieve my skinid kit product on tuesday, and i started using it since yesterday morning, last night, and this morning. What i notice is that i have a dry skin on my chin. Is it normal, and will it go away. I don’t have a really bad acne, only few on my chin, and on my forehead, like it comes and goes in different spot every week, so i thought i try this stuff skinid, and i really hope it works for me.
Comment by Daniel on 15 July 2010:
i started using mine on wednesday and my skin if so dry and flaky all over and i dont know what to do either. because it already made some of my pimples go away but its so drying:(
Comment by eleanor on 23 July 2010:
I cannot say enough good things about SkinID. The only negative is that it’s pricey with the shipping. I am 52, and I have had embarrassingly bad skin ever since I was 20. For the first time in my life, people actually comment on what beautiful skin I have. The first time somebody said it to me, I almost cried. I never thought I would be complimented on my skin. I saw results pretty quickly (within a month), and I’ve been using the products for about 9 months.
Comment by Maria Satorre on 12 November 2010:
hi,
i live in Melbourne Australia. recently i had a look at the products. im interested in purchasing the skinid. i analyze my skin type: 25 32 and 72. unfortunately you only deliver in US and Canada. How would i be able to purchase the product shipping to Australia.
Thanks,
Maria…
