Watch the trailer. The September Campaign starts now. The 4-minute story of charity: water and the September Campaign.

In two weeks, charity: water will turn three years old. It’s been an amazing ride. In just three years, charity: water was able to raise more than $10 million. That means more than 700,000 people around the world will get clean and safe drinking water.

This September, charity: water wants to serve their first million people. And they need your help to do it. During last year’s September Campaign, they asked everyone born in the month of September to give up birthday gifts and ask for donations to help the people of Ethiopia. Almost $1 million was raised. To reach their goal this year, they need to pull out all the stops. So they’re asking all you September babies to use your birthdays again, but they’re not stopping there.

This year, even if you’re not born in September, you can run, swim, skydive – do anything you want – to bring clean drinking water to people in need. As always, 100% of donations directly fund water projects, and you’ll then be able to see every project on Google Earth when they’re completed.

Help charity: water get to a million people, and then keep going. They won’t stop until everyone on the planet has clean and safe water to drink.
