New Weekly Half-Hour Comedy Series Premieres Friday, September 10 at 10:30pm ET/PT on E!

Los Angeles, CA, September, 2010 – If there is a Police Commissioner of fashion, it is surely Joan Rivers, whose unbridled, outrageous and unpredictable commentary has kept viewers riveted to their TVs for years. Now, Rivers is making a weekly habit out of her no-holds-barred fashion reviews, when E!’s popular franchise “Fashion Police” expands to a new weekly series. Joan will be joined each week by an outspoken panel of fashionistas, including international” it girl” Kelly Osbourne, E! and Style Network star Giuliana Rancic and celebrity stylist George Kotsiopoulos. Together this Fab Four of Fashion will guide viewers through the week’s most high-profile celebrity happenings. Fueled by the most topical and talked about pop culture news, red carpet clips from A-list events and shocking fashion faux pas moments from around the globe, “Fashion Police” is putting tacky celebrity fashion on lockdown, when the show premieres in its weekly timeslot Friday, September 10 at 10:30pm ET/PT.

Rivers will lead off each weekly installment of “Fashion Police” with her unique assessment of the top entertainment stories of the week, and as fashion fans everywhere know, Joan always tells it like it is. Backed up by her chorus of “couture cops,” Kelly, Giuliana and George, Rivers and company will cut a swath through the jungle of tacky celebrity fashion to reveal who fizzled, who sizzled and who should have just stayed home in a housecoat. They will cover the good, the bad, and most assuredly the ugly, along with everything in between.

The weekly series will put its stamp on fashion commentary with original weekly segments such as “Red Carpet Roll-Out,” which takes viewers to star-studded events around the world, and “Rack Report,” which showcases those female celebrities who are carrying more than their fair share up top. The cops will also hit the streets to assess the style choices of celebrities out and about in the “Caught Casual” segment, and will take an arresting look at which stars are showing a bit too much flesh in “Skin Flick.” Other segments will include “Starlet or Streetwalker?,” “What the Hell Happened to.” and the sure-to-be fan favorite “What Were You Thinking?” And since no outfit is complete without the right “do,” the foursome will spotlight some of Hollywood’s tastiest tresses in “Hair Play.”

Finally, some of the hottest names in fashion will stop by the set to bring the latest style news and their own personal opinion to the debate. The “Fashion Police” team will also often hit TV and film sets to get an inside look at the wardrobes of today’s hottest stars. Joan’s take-no-prisoners commentary will close each episode as she runs down the final ‘best and the worst’ of the week – but don’t despair Hollywood because there’s always the opportunity on “Fashion Police” to escape further sentencing and get out on parole with a hot new look.

The “Fashion Police” team boasts decades of combined experience and expertise. Joan is a true entertainment icon and red carpet legend. The new series provides the Emmy winning talk show host, Tony nominated actress and best selling author with the perfect platform to showcase her unique talent for quick, hilarious and razor-sharp commentary. Giuliana is E!’s resident fashionista and the ultimate Hollywood insider. As host of “E! News” and “Live from the Red Carpet” and star of Style’s “Giuliana & Bill,” she has her finger on the pulse of what’s hot in entertainment. Kelly’s “it girl” status, along with her style expertise and outspoken personality, makes her the perfect addition to give smart commentary with plenty of pop and attitude. As a favorite tabloid fashion target herself, Kelly knows well what’s hot and what’s not. George brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the panel. He is currently the Style Editor at Large at C Magazine, the national luxury lifestyle title for all of California, and previously worked in the Style department at The New York Times Magazine. George has worked closely with many top designers, models and stars, including Courtney Cox Arquette, Heidi Klum, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, Julianne Moore and many others.

“Fashion Police” is produced by Comcast Entertainment Studios. Gary Snegaroff is Executive-in-Charge of Production, along with Lisa Bacon serving as Executive Producer and Melissa Rivers as Co-Executive Producer. Larry Thompson, Joan Rivers’ manager, brokered the deal with the network.
