LA PERLA PRESENTS THE PRE-FALL 2017 CAMPAIGN STARRING KENDALL JENNER SET IN THE KALEIDOSCOPIC WORLD OF AN ENGLISH POP ART GARDEN
NEW YORK, NY: MAY 18, 2017: A surreal garden of gigantic begonias, a colossal hibiscus, and reimagined tulips comes to life in a world of fantasy and art designed by La Perla Creative Director, Julia Haart. Inspired by the works of Georgia O’Keeffe and Peter Max, Haart calls upon her favorite pieces from the pop-art and modernist movements to fuse the Pre-Fall 2017 Campaign with her own cast of psychedelic creativity.
In 2017, CHANEL celebrates Gabrielle, the first name of its founder, better known as Coco Chanel. Known for breaking the rules of her time, Gabrielle Chanel transformed her rebellion into an art. This moment of celebration was initiated by Karl Lagerfeld who dedicated a bag to the House’s founder, CHANEL’s GABRIELLE, which he created for the Spring / Summer 2017 collection.
This season, Redken Global Creative Director Guido capitalized on lustrous texture at Ralph Lauren’s FW 2017 Show.
“The hair this season at Ralph Lauren is very on-trend with lustrous, air-dried texture. I’ve started out by prepping the hair with All Soft Shampoo and Conditioner to soften the look, then we’re taking a look at the girls’ natural dried texture and adding a bit of Glow Dry Style Enhancing Blow Dry Oil for soft shine while it dries.” – Guido

This is a New York Fashion Week FW 2017 Report. Backstage at the MONSE Fall/Winter 2017 RTW Collection in New York, Makeup Artist Gucci Westman prepped models’ skin with luxury skincare brand SK-II prior to makeup application.
“The inspiration for the beauty look was inspired by a deconstructed, urban film noir-type girl,” said Gucci Westman. “A girl that feels very real, approachable, and beautiful.”
To ensure each model had a luminous, radiant complexion, Gucci applied the iconic SK-II Facial Treatment Essence, followed by GenOptics Aura Essence and the NEW R.N.A. Power Eye Cream (launching this month!)

“This season at Tory Burch, both Tory and I were inspired by Katharine Hepburn from the movie “Philadelphia Story”. I’ve prepped the hair with Diamond Oil Shampoo and Conditioner to give it a lot of shine. To me, very clean hair can enhance individual texture. I’ve pulled the hair back into a low ponytail, and added this thick black velvet ribbon from Tory to evoke a romantic, sophisticated, soft, pretty look. I’ve kept the hair at a center part vs. a side part, to give a more girly, feminine touch that very much speaks to the Tory Burch brand.” – Guido

Inspiration: ￼The Alexander Wang Fall/Winter 2017 collection pulled inspiration from a strong and rebellious individual, which echoed throughout his collection with industrial detailing and embellishments. Rita Remark for essie used this inspiration to create a “concrete” nail look, which Rita said symbolizes the “foundation that allows your individuality to shine.”

“A lot of designers like to talk about personality. At some shows, you can find an edgy, East Village cool-girl, but here at Beckham we wanted to highlight an understated beauty. I’ve seen a resurgence of a new idea of luxury in hair – very clean hair that’s left to dry naturally. I love using Diamond Oil Shampoo and Conditioner to obtain this level of shine.
