Yesterday, Maybelline New York created the backstage makeup look for the Jason Wu SS18 shows. For Jason Wu’s Spring 2018 collection, Yadim creates a makeup look he calls “young while still elevating the girls to the most beautiful version of themselves.” To capture this, he mimics “the reminisce of a summer tan that’s been left behind” through warm tones and faux-freckles, resulting in a look that’s equal parts sweet and stripped down.

The new series will debut on October 2nd on Maybelline’s YouTube channel and feature host, de Jager, along with ten micro-influencer contest winners.
Maybelline New York teamed up with Shayla Mitchell of @MAKEUPSHAYLA to launch its first beauty influencer product collection. The Maybelline x Shayla collection includes a shade extension of the fan favorite, Colossal Big Shot Mascara and a new City Mini Palette, both curated by Shayla herself.
For Monique Lhuillier’s Spring 2018 Bridal show, Makeup Artist Carolina Dali for Maybelline New York creates a dewey, natural look to coincide with the collection. “Monique wants the girls to appear sensual with an effortless beauty, so I am creating a fresh, subtle makeup look with a radiant glow to achieve the designer’s vision,” says Dali.
For the first time ever, the brand behind must-have products including Baby Lips and Great Lash picked some familiar faces to front its new mascara campaign. Beauty vloggers Manny Gutierrez and Shayla Mitchell were just announced as Maybelline’s newest partners for a series of fun videos for its new Big Shot Mascara by Colossal.
