To pair with the feminine, yet edgy and dark undertone of Wes Gordon’s Spring/Summer 2016 collection, Rita Remark for essie created a gothic ombre nail look that perfectly captured the enviable style of ’90s “good girl gone bad.” The nail design juxtaposes light and dark with wet and dry.

The look is a clean, graphic ponytail with a sharp center part.
GET THE LOOK:
· Blow dry hair with PHYTO Phytovolume Actif or PHYTO Intense Volume Mousse, depending upon the hair type.
· Pull back hair into a pony tail at the nape of the neck.
· Once the hair is pulled back, secure it with custom-made leather holders.
· Finish the look by spraying with PHYTO Phytolaque Soie Hairspray.

DESIGNER INSPIRATION : “Juergen Teller’s images of Annie Morton came to mind,” said Michael and Nicole Colovos, the husband and wife designing team behind the label. “An off-duty ‘90s girl on a Sunday morning with slept-in, smudged eyes and scrubbed polished skin – a cool, effortless beauty.”
Lancôme’s Artistic Director for Makeup Aaron De Mey wanted to create a “super bronzed” complexion with chocolate eyes and soft bronze lips. For the eyes, he applied dark brown eyeliner to the upper and lower lash line and into the crease and blended away any edges.
