“The inspiration for the beauty look was inspired by a deconstructed, urban film noir-type girl,” said Gucci Westman. “A girl that feels very real, approachable, and beautiful.”

To ensure each model had a luminous, radiant complexion, Gucci applied the iconic SK-II Facial Treatment Essence, followed by GenOptics Aura Essence and the NEW R.N.A. Power Eye Cream (launching this month!)

New York Fashion Week Report. Rag & Bone Fall Winter 2011. Makeup: Revlon’s Global Artistic Director, Gucci Westman, paired a smoky eye with sun burnt skin for the Rag & Bone Fall 2011 collection, bringing forth the designer’s vision of an urban Eskimo.

“The look is about a nomadic traveler. She’s an effortless Eskimo,” says Westman. “I created a smoky coal-hued eye and a sun burnt look to the skin.”

Revlon’s Global Artistic Director, Gucci Westman, paired a contoured eye with a strong lip for the Luca Luca Fall 2011 collection, bringing forth the designer’s vision of a forest fairytale filled with lush orange and okra hues.

“The look is about a fresh, modern girl on an adventure,” says Westman. “She’s refined, yet modern. I created an eye that is contoured but not overly done so the attention is focused on the bright, striking lip.”

The Best Red Lips For Fall 2010

Lipstick lovers always look forward to fall because it’s the season of the bold lip. If you’re not yet ready to plunge into the deep hues of the glampire beauty trend, there are many interpretations of the more classic crimson look. Oh, and stop making fun of your mother about her lip pencil: The formerly eschewed makeup implement is making a major comeback this fall. At Richard Chai, Gucci Westman for Revlon keyed makeup. Lips were defined with new-for-fall Revlon Suede Rhapsody Multi-Use Palette, set to launch in September 2010. First, Gucci applied ColorStay Lip Liner in Red all over the lip as a base, then painted on the deeper red lipstick from the palette which created a matte effect. “The clothes don’t have a lot of color, so I felt a pop of pigment was needed on the lips,” explains Westman.
