Cameron Diaz was a luminous presence at Tuesday’s UK premiere of What To Expect When You’re Expecting. Makeup artist Emma Lovell used Hourglass Cosmetics to create her leading lady look with a focus on dramatic eyes, plum lips and radiant skin. “The makeup was designed to complement Cameron’s cream Stella McCartney jumpsuit, her choppy blonde bob and her dramatic earrings. I wanted a cute feline eye to be the main attraction, keeping the lips pretty and fresh with a plum stain.”

If you wonder how to get Cameron Diaz’ full of volume hair here’s the secret. This is according to hairdresser Lona Vigi who created Miss Diaz’ hairstyle: “I also used (in addition to blow drying her hair using Velecta Paramount Paris TGR 4000 blow dryer) the Volumizing Catalyst from LiQWD ($28), which is the greatest product for fine hair.”
As stars walked the red carpet for Hollywood ’s biggest night, they showed off their stunning couture gowns, sparkling jewels and of course, glamorous haircolor. Oscars 2010 Hair Trends: Big Hair like Cameron Diaz. Get the look with full thickening cream by Living Proof.
The star turnout on the red carpet was big, and the hair was even bigger at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards show Sunday night. Romantic, natural tresses with lots texture and movement are speaking volumes this awards season. Living Proof celebrity stylist, Ward Stegerhoek, gives tips on how to use full thickening cream, and get the look at home. Full, the new breakthrough technology product that gives body and movement helps to create large, loose waves that will enhance any modern-chic style with a sexy, carefree, look.
Hairstyle Tips: How to get the big hair look
Step 1: When using full thickening cream, start with clean, damp hair. Squeeze a nickel-sized amount of full onto your fingertip. Once you dispense the correct amount, rub full between your hands. Ward Stegerhoek reminds us that full is designed to provide thickness, not lift. So if you want to use a root lifter, apply that first.
For 2010 Oscar night, Cameron Diaz wore an elegant metallic Oscar de la Renta gown and a luminous hair look reminiscent of the Old Hollywood glamour of Veronica Lake – created with a modern point of view by stylist Lona Vigi.
How to get Cameron Diaz’ Oscars 2010 hairdo: Vigi started by spraying on a volumizer, then used the high-tech Velecta Paramount Paris TGR 4000i hairdryer to create texture and shine in a unique way. The dual-function French-made dryer is built with the ability to turn an ionics switch off to build volume, and then back on to create shine and smoothness.
She first blow dried the hair with ionics turned off, volumizing by taking small sections of hair and using a medium round bristle brush to dry the hair back and up using high velocity and heat. Vigi then “set” the hair and gave it a boost of shine by turning on both the ionics switch and cool button to lock in curls and add a polished shine. She then freed the barrel curls and held each one in place with a pin.

Beauty Inspiration: “We took the Veronica Lake regal, smooth, classic Hollywood look and gave it a modern but glamorous twist. We kept the warmth and added a little edge.”-Makeup Artist Robin Fredriksz
How to get Cameron Diaz’ Oscars 2010 makeup look:
Robin started off by applying CHANEL Soft Touch Eye Shadow in Sand in the crease of the lids, and lining the entire eye with CHANEL Intense Eye Pencil in Noir. To make Cameron’s striking blue eyes pop even more, Robin applied several coats of CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir. As Cameron has loved a red lip lately, Robin lined her lips with CHANEL Lip Definer in Rouge, and applied the perfect true red lip shade – CHANEL Rouge Coco in Gabrielle. She used the same shade of lip colour as a blush, dabbing a bit on the apples of the cheeks. Her nails were painted with CHANEL Nail Colour in Lotus Rouge, a flattering shade perfect for the red carpet.

Beauty Inspiration & The Look: “I wanted to blend my old Hollywood inspiration from the dress with the sunny California girl that is Cameron. So I paired the classic CHANEL red mouth with the golden sunny California eye.”
Beauty Tip: “I used the gold shadow from the CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow in Mystic Eyes in the outer corner of Cameron’s lids and crease, and then I used the darker peach and gold mixed together from CHANEL Quadra Eye Shadow Quad in Demure on her lids. I lined her eye with CHANEL Precision Eye Definer in Khaki Dore, and finished with CHANEL Inimitable Mascara in Noir. On her lips she wore CHANEL Rouge Allure Laque in Dragon.”
