“I began with wet hair and applied a large amount of Macadamia Volumizing Mousse throughout. I blow dried the hair upside down to create all over volume. Then, I brushed all the hair with a paddle brush and created a deep side part. Using a large round brush, I blow dried the bangs forward and pinned in place.

I then used two irons – one half inch and one 1 inch to wave the hair. Next, I back brushed the crown area only and applied a dime size of Macadamia Whipped Detaling Cream all over to create a smooth texture all the way to the ends. Then I took a flat iron and flattened the ends only to give a rocker/beachy feel.

Lastly, I sprayed Macadamia Control Spray all over and shook the whole head a few times. After one last smoothing of the bangs, the hair was ready!”

BEAUTY INSPIRATION:

“Fresh, golden, and softly sexy.”

GET THE LOOK:

“I began by using a foundation brush and a Beautyblender to apply YSL Le Tient Touché Éclat B50. I always swipe foundation in the center of the face and then blend it outwards using the Beautyblender to thin out and blend it perfectly. I also used Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer in Medium where needed.

I applied W3LL People Universalist 6, a warm blood orange color cream blush, on the cheeks to add a sun-kissed feeling to the skin. After a light dusting of Chanel Poudre Libre Universelle #30, I used Jouer Bronzer in Sun Tan, a matte bronzer, to add warmth to the outer edges of the face.

On the eyes, I first used a rust colored matte shadow from Make Up For Ever to create depth and then swept Kevyn Aucoin Shadow Duo #208, a golden bronze, all over the lid and blended up past the crease, sweeping it under the lower lashes. I applied Antonym Black Eyeliner and using an angled brush, I pushed the liner into the lash line. I used a taupe liner, Mineral Fusion Liner in Rough, in the waterline to make the eye feel a little sexier. It gave the eye shape without the heaviness of a black liner. I curled the lashes and used two coats of Maybelline Lash Discovery Mascara in Black on the top lashes and one on the bottom.

A warm pink on the lips, Tom Ford Spanish Pink, finished off the look.”
