CLARINSx29ROOMS TAKES CENTER STAGE DURING NEW YORK FASHION WEEK NEW YORK — September 8, 2017— Clarins, the leading skincare brand in Europe, announces its participation in Refinery29’s 29Rooms. The 2017 festival of style, culture and technology centers around the theme “Turn It Into Art” and will celebrate the transformative power of creativity in its ability to shift perception and drive change. The four day event during NYFW boasts a new roster of visionary creatives and partners, and is set to be the biggest yet.



An expansive Williamsburg warehouse will be transformed into a public festival and social media spectacle. The highly visual event has seen nearly 20,000 visitors over the past two years, and reached one in two Instagram users in 2016.

In celebration of Clarins’ 8th Generation Double Serum technology and innovations and its “Inspired by Nature – Powered by Plants” ethos, Refinery29 and Clarins present ”Chambers of Beauty” an immersive, elevated experience at 29Rooms that will submerge guests in the hydric and lipidic technology of Double Serum while bringing to life the scent, visuals and utility of its [20+1] potent plant extracts for every attendee. In Clarins’ ”Chambers of Beauty”, guests are transported into a golden/amber space that bathes them in a projected digital skin of moving Hydric + Lipidic visuals. At the room’s center, guests are invited into a utopic eden, a multi- sensory and modern immersion into the plant extracts and technology that power Double Serum and its anti-aging capabilities. Reflecting the dual chamber technology of the Double Serum bottle, “Chambers of Beauty” provides two experiences in one.

As the center piece of the activation, the interior execution of the cube brings to life the benefits and results of Double Serum’s powerful plant extracts and the unique “language of youth” breakthrough of the 8th generation serum in a unique sensory experience. Seamlessly integrated but clear product education elements, brand tie-ins and an overall modern design treatment will reinforce the innovation and research backbone of the Clarins brand for guests.
