Hanae Mori is a Japanese fashion designer with a Parisian touch since the 1960′s.  Hanae Mori designs combines East and West cultures.  Her signature gown is a silk chiffon dress patterned with black Japanese calligraphy, extra-long kimono-like sleeves, and a  Mao collar.  You can find this mixture of Oriental conventions and  the West in Hanae Mori Butterfly fragrance.  Hanae Mori Butterfly fragrance was introduced in 1996.  Packaged delicately with the bottle’s top made from glass, a first for its kind.  The top represents a butterfly shape and wings.  Main notes:  Strawberries, Bilberries, Black Currant, Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Sandalwood, Almond, Praline.  Cost:  $60 for 1.7 oz Eau de Toilette Spray.  $85 for 1.7 oz Eau de Parfum Spray.
