Kenzo Power Eau de Toilette: the new fragrance for men from Kenzo, brings the work of prolific Japanese designer – Kenya Hara to the world of fine fragrances and introduces a new statement of masculine power centered on an imaginary flower.

The mastermind behind the “Muji” concept, Mr. Hara created a bottle that highlights the power of tranquility as opposed to noise, which sets the project on an opposing playing field to the ultra-flashy, celebrity-focused mega launches that has dominated the fragrance market in recent years.

Made of stainless steel and reflective like a mirror, the bottle holds the scent of an imaginary flower created by Olivier Polge of IFF – a woody amber that communicates obvious strength and masculinity without ostentation.

The Fragrance: An imaginary flower in the heart of a woody ambery fragrance. First, a blend of spices and zest, for a fresh-invigorating impact. Lastly, woody and amber notes for an enveloping, masculine effect.

Notes: Spicy citrus top: Bergamot, coriander, cardamom. Abstract floral heart: rose, jasmine, freesia. Woody amber base: tolu balsam, cedar wood and labdanum.

The Bottle Created by Kenya Hara. Mirrored metal, simple curves, pure lines. Originally created as a sake bottle. The Box Created by Kenya Hara. Made of soft textured white paper and evoking the powerful sophistication of simplicity. A few lines of text are engraved, like imprints. Mr. Hara was inspired by footprints made on fresh-fallen snow.
