“Lana Turner and 1950’s glamour was my inspiration for Naomi’s look in Madrid. I feel that there is nothing more glamorous than the 50’s film noir era.”

GET THE LOOK

“I started with a Kerastase Mousse Volumactive on a wet head. I blow dried the whole head with a round mid-size bristle brush in large sections to amplify the volume all around the head. I then sectioned a deep side part, and brushed all the hair with a Mason & Pearson brush.

I started with a 1 inch curling iron to wave the hair in medium to small sections. For each section I sprayed Redken 22 Thermal Setting Mist. The top and sides of the head are separated into small sections to create smaller waves, while the lower and back are separated into medium sections to create a softer wave so the hair cascades down – and not outward. This is very important! I brushed all the hair again to create depth in the waves.

I then glorified the shine texture by using ECRU NY Silk Texturizing Balm – it just makes the hair glow, especially blondes.

I then brushed the hair gently one more time to distribute the product evenly. I finished the look into place with a soft hairspray, ECRU NY Sun Light Spray.”
